  1. Possible silver lining to this probable loss is that Happ at 2nd might mean less Sogard in the future.
  2. Patrick Wisdom hit a homerun tonight and his OPS went down.
  3. Eric Sogard needs to be shot directly into the sun. His barrel % is 1.1. He barrels the ball up 1% of the horsefeathers time.
  4. No, no, no. Sogard has tricked you.
  5. Maybe he just thinks it's unchristian in some way? An idol or a symbol of vanity or something. Or maybe it reminds him of the time his wife slept with Addison Russell. I don't know.
  6. Anyone know why Rizzo was going after Willson in the dugout there?
  7. I don't see how this is difficult AT ALL to understand. Brenly used a White, Hall of Fame pitcher to compare, the "joke" being that Seaver would never wear a Durag and he was great and white, implying that Stroman wearing one is a step down.
  8. He was basically saying that wearing a durag wasn't something a greater, whiter man would do.
  9. Luka trying to outdo Dame. I keep thinking, wtf is that shot? Splash.
  10. Yeah, big difference when you can get your own shot. They just couldn't stop him.
  11. Thank god for bad defense and bloop singles because that's the only way Ortega/Sogard/Higgins are doing any damage.
  12. Would be nice to see Adbert get through 6 today.
  13. Would have loved to see Kimbrel vs. Tatis there.
  14. That was another good at bat from Patrick Wisdom
  15. Alright, a baserunner! Let's get something going. *checks lineup again* .....
  16. I'd rather have Eric Sogard than Daniel Murphy, but not by much.
  17. I will say this. If we win this game, we're winning the W.S.
  18. Alright, here we go! ....... *checks lineup*
  19. Well, I was disappointed when they didn't bring him back. He was 27, and had just come off his 2nd season better than any Chris Coghlan ever had. A 27 year old leaving a terrible team seems like a perfect candidate for improvement. At least to me.
  20. I don't think anyone is arguing that Darvish initially struggled as a cub. I was simply saying that adding an ace and the NL OPS leader, two guys who were on our roster recently, would be nice. Seems very uncontroversial.
