Wait, you think his ACL is potentially still "hurt?" I think that the ACL is ok, but I think he might still not be healthy enough to play. I don't know, I've never had that injury. I think there is a chance he could be a different player when he gets back. As a soccer player who's dealt with #nee injuries several times, I can say that coming back from an ACL/MCL injury is not that big of a deal, provided none of the other ligs around the knee were ruptured and you rehab it properly, and you're young. Rose had a simple tear, has access to the absolute best doctors and rehab facilities and is very young. There's very little reason to think he'd not be able to come back and be pretty much the same player. Did you play at a world class level? Where even the slightest drop could be major? Didn't think so. Collegiate level. I played with and against guys that still currently play professionally. And that ended after a ruptured ankle. So I do have an idea of how it works. Plus, it really isn't like once you are a professional athlete the rules of surgery, rehab and recovery somehow are altered. It's the same principle at every level, adjusted for talent.
