    I don't see a lot of negativity, but I do think he's being underrated here a bit. he may not light the league on fire with 20-10 numbers his first year, but I think he'll come pretty close. I personally don't think either Rose or Beasley would be a bad pick for the Bulls, and I can understand why both sides want each player. I think Rose is an overall better fit if they can move Hinrich.

    The only reasons that I can think of as to why any of these players doesn't make the HOF on the first ballot are: Bonds - Steroids Clemens -Steroids Sosa - speculation of steroids Johnson - short of 300 wins Piazza - poor defense Biggio, Maddux, Martinez, Glavine, Smoltz are all cinch 1st ballot HOF. The numbers would make all 10 of them 1st ballot HOF. Johnson - 4653 K's (soon to be #2 all-time) Piazza - arguably the greatest offensive catcher in the history of the game

    After he clears waivers because teams like Cincinnati decided they changed their mind? Sure, seems greatly reasonable... if they work out a trade with the Rays, he's not exposed to waivers by being sent down. he's only put on waivers if they offer him back to the Rays No... He'd have to first clear waivers and make it back to the Rays before you can work out a trade with them. The other teams get a shot at keeping the player with Rule 5 restrictions first. methinks you don't understand the process

    What do you mean why isn't he considered? It looks as though McCann is leading the All-Star votes and his numbers aren't as good as Soto's although there are very good. Brian McCann is a known commodity. Geo's a lowly rookie that most "fans" don't know anything about. it'll be a crime if he keeps up this production and is not selected as a reserve.

    I don't mind Grace in the booth. Josh Lewin, THOM, the Mariners crew, the Brewers crew, Matt Vasgersian, and Ron Darling drive me nuts amongst others.
