  1. Wow, Heyward finally made an out.
  2. The first time I had back surgery I was in a bar 2 days later and using no pain meds. I expect to see him return by next weekend.
  3. I have not been to a Cubs game since I believe 2010. I have tickets to 2 games this month: next week in Baltimore and the following week at Wrigley.
  4. oops wrong year to celebrate that
  5. Praise be. For the past many months I thought for sure the lack of talent would make it difficult to have success.
  6. I'll always hate him for hitting 6 dongs in 7 games against us when he first came up in 2019
  7. All of this really begs the question, who gives a horsefeathers?
  8. In honor of Fergie getting his statue... https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CHN197104060.shtml Opening day, 1971. 40 degrees at game time. Bob Gibson went 9-1/3 and took the L for the Cardinals, giving up a Billy Williams DONG in extras. Fergie went 10 for the Cubs. Bonkers that this horsefeathers used to be the norm.
  9. I traded him straight up for Heyward in The Show. Seems like we should start there.
  10. He swung at that 3-2 like he knew exactly what was coming He did know. I told him.
  11. I don't care how the rest of Christopher Morel's career goes. That was amazing, and I love him*. *I reserve the right to turn on a dime and hate him at a later date.
  12. [tweet] [/tweet]
  13. I actually enjoyed them. Katie provided very little benefit other than a couple spots of humor, but the best was Cliff Floyd being so wrong about everything and knowing he was wrong about it. The when he talked about people in Wrigleyville often mistaking him for JHey, and Stephen Nelson said something like “there’s something not quite white about that”. They were better than the product on the field.
