Yeah, if a 20 year old isn't OPS'ing over 1.000 in his first month of AA then we might as well cut him. I don't think it's too absurd to question the future of Vitters. While he is still young, he hasn't exactly been outstanding. His 08 Boise and 09 Peoria numbers were good, but there's been a lot of mediocrity around that. It's not absurd to wonder if he'll be a good major leaguer, but it's pretty absurd to give up hope on a 20 year old that's struggling in his first month of AA. I don't see where anyone was giving up hope.
