  2. for the love of the game, please end this inning...
  3. I've never seen that Scissors piece either. on a totally unrelated note, there must be a ton of people chopping onions nearby
  4. "even though we were only down by one run at one point"
  5. pretty cool to see that whole box pull out W flags

  8. I just got done watching The Revenant. looks like I may have made a wise choice so far
  9. true story: my youngest sister called me one night when she was like 12. it was 6:30 and she was sobbing uncontrollably. she calmed down enough to let me know the reason why. it seems my mom was gone shopping or something, and my dad wanted to go to bed at like 6:00 so he told her she had to go to bed too. I was able to calm her down and remind her that he's a heavy sleeper so give it like 15 minutes then do whatever the horsefeathers you want. the moral to my story is, I now think mojo might be my dad...
  10. how the horsefeathers were they able to take that picture in 1978?

  12. to me, he used to be THE voice in the game. he's a big reason why I love the movie For Love of the Game. but he hasn't been all that great for a while now.
  13. righteous dude indeed
  14. 133 pitches, 8 2/3. I don't know why, but I love watching non-Cubs lose no hitters super late
  15. here could be a fun Stanton game. pick the salaries he will earn on the field... 17:$14.5M, 18:$25M, 19:$26M, 20:$26M, 21:$29M, 22:$29M, 23:$32M, 24:$32M, 25:$32M, 26:$29M, 27:$25M, 28:$25M club option
  16. so is Jake relying on his fastball more because he's having a harder time throwing his slider/cutter/jakeball for strikes this year, thus falling behind? (apologies if addressed in another article, y'all should know I can't read those all the way through)
  17. what world do you live in where Stanton pays 110 games? fantasyland?
  18. not that it means our staff is chopped liver by any means, but 1998 was also a slightly more offense-friendly environment than today
