    ok? Point being he's going to get plenty of rest so it's not a real worry. He won't see a huge inning jump really no matter what happens (even with a deep playoff run he's getting regular rest at least if not extra days a lot of the time). He threw nearly 190 innings last year with the playoffs. So even with a "jump" plus a postseason run he's not getting much higher than 220 or so and that's going to have rest/skip starts added in. you realize you're basically saying a really long version of what I said, right?

    Kyle's also nearing his career high in IP so extra days here and there might be a good thing He's at 159 right now, he's thrown 180 the past 2 years. He's fine and he's going to get plenty of rest the rest of the way it is with the 6-man rotation and off days worked in. At most he has 6 starts left and it's probably going to be 4 or 5 including a likely start on a strict pitch/inning count down the stretch. ok?

    Would rather see Hendricks get another home start and have Lackey open the road trip. Just because Kyle is so damn good at home. But I guess it doesn't really matter. Kyle's also nearing his career high in IP so extra days here and there might be a good thing
