Not to second guess Joe, but it's about time he rested Bryant. I wouldn't mind seeing him out of the line up tomorrow as well, then the off day on Thursday, that would give him a nice 3 day rest. and risk having Bryant fall off the wagon with all that downtime? No thanks I think it's "on the wagon"

or a 1 game playoff Nah. They'll either be in the wildcard game or if they win a 1-game playoff and the division, they'd have to go thru the Nats first. So, either way they'd technically have to win a round to get to the Cubs. Cubs get WC winner due to best overall record. it's pretty disingenuous to say the wild card game is "a round"
