  1. No Perez in that inning but he is due up first next time around.
  2. They were early but he's been on a downward spiral lately.
  3. But because he played here people will take it as gospel. UGH, a popup.
  4. Down 2-0 but it's just the start of the home 2nd inning.
  5. No doubt he's there to root on the Fish.
  6. <---- Wants to convice her to put up her old avatar, but in light of Keith Hernandez's comments thinks better of it. LOL, don't get me started with that guy.
  7. Z is most effective when he pitches in the low 90s; that's when his ball sinks and he gets groundballs. He's been getting too many fly balls lately.
  8. Apparently, they think the majority of their viewers are Marlins fans tonight. They should know that Marlins fans only show themselves until the second half of September? And that's only if the team is in the playoff hunt. They probably won't show up then either... Meanwhile, Z isn't fooling too many of these guys.
  9. This is why your "ace" needs to shut them down (especially in the first inning). Now the pressure is on the Cubs...

  11. What are they saying now? I'm watching the game locally on WCIU/Cubs Net
  12. The real problem was the walk. Cabrera is a legit hitter so, yes, tip your hat to him but he can't exacerbate the situation by walking batters.
  13. When the telecast started I told my roommate that the over/under on a Bartman reference was 10 minutes. I took under and I won. It's disgusting. I don't think ESPN can have a Cubs game without mentioning it. I think it was during the Cardinals-Cubs Sunday Night Game a ball was fouled off near the seats and sure enough Morgan mentioned Bartman virtually immediately. BTW, I also called the Cabrera home run to my roommate. And I think I'm going to Vegas right now. Speaking of Vegas, I heard on the radio, the Marlins are the biggest longshot in all of baseball tonight. Let's not make this a big payday!
  14. Zambrano has got to get himself together.

  16. Pierre Cedeno Walker Aramis Barrett Murton Jones Hairston Pitcher That's what the order should be everyday until Lee comes back (give or take resting a few guys every so often). Murton's struggling let him hit in the 6th spot for now. I like the lineup with Cedeno hitting 2nd. Too bad Ronny lost his ROY eligibility, Baker had him ride the pine too much last year... Didn't the fact that he broke his hand the last month, or so, while still in the ML affect it? I think, at one point he was playing consistently then he got injured and sat. They weren't going to demote him, at that point, but if they had he may have been able to save enough days for eligibility. Didn't you hear Harold Reynolds last night? Cedeno is a ROY candidate. Ah, ESPN. Always good for a laugh. He also called Aramis "Air-A-Mis" He's obviously not paying attention to much. lol
  17. He hasn't been but the Cubs reserve the right to do so for Wednesday (while keeping Guzman in the bullpen). A decision is expected today for Wednesday's starter.
