another reason why all mid-week lineup changes should be allowed. technically, dropping maxwell constitutes a non-starting pitcher mid-week lineup change and shouldn't be allowed. Ok, then I'm confused. I didn't start Pagan on Monday b/c he had a sore wrist over the weekend and I wasn't sure he'd play this week. I started Duda, but then he was taken out of their second game on Monday with a back injury. So I took Duda out and put Pagan in b/c he's over whatever his wrist injury. Duda's back injury was minor so he's playing today, so I put him back in and took Maxwell out (who only started b/c Pagan had the wrist issue). Last week, you told me I could drop a guy from my bench, which is what I did to make room for Cingrani. If what I did wasn't above board, you can put Maxwell back on my team and I'll put Cingrani in the minors. But I'm pretty sure this is within the rules as they've been explained to me and how others play. Finally, I completely agree with you about all mid-week lineup changes. In the past, I've been burned by not doing anything b/c I didn't know what I could or couldn't do (I didn't think I could add a guy unless I was putting someone on the DL or dropping an injured player, then you told me last week that I can make mid-week changes to my bench players) and then when I do things like I did today, I'm told I'm not allowed to do them. I've been playing fantasy baseball for over a decade without issues but I cannot wrap my head around all the rules of this league.
