    Do you mean could have if the Cubs could have been smart enough to trade Sosa earlier and get a player LIKE A. Jones? Or was this deal specifically rumored/on the table/discussed? Those with better memories can help me, but a few years ago the Braves were shopping Jones, and Sosa's value was still quite high at that point. There were many who advocated Sosa for Jones.

    Dear Len and Bob - I've got a funny story for you. I was watching a Cubs game last year and my toaster caused an electrical fire. Even though my house was on fire, I stayed in the living room Jeromy Burnitz won the game with a single in the bottom of the 9th. There are third degree burns over 90 percent of my body now. Go Cubs!
