    I think I can see where you're coming from Derwood. I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it creepy, but it was one of those moments that makes you think. It was good to see him back on the mound (he got his 1300th K last night, you know - I think only Johan Santana is younger of those with more. I may be wrong) yesterday, and I hope we can see him pitching just as well as he did again. Maybe if they hadn't kept telling us he was due, then not putting him in, it would be less odd.

    I'm assuming that some of this extra use is down to school holidays - which will be over soon (I think). As for this, its a good idea. I barely notice the $5 going out each month - and I'm not a rich man - but just to avoid the ads, its well worth it. Even when I have to stop posting soon, when I move out, I'll probably keep paying, just because it'll be worth it when I do come back home. Tim, do you get a breakdown of what the main bandwidth burners are?

    9 of those are against Cinci, though. While they have Adam Dunn, and what I've seen him do against Cub pitching before, they scare me.

    Dan Johnson may have just made the best catch the A's announcer has ever seen to get Vlad Guerrero. I remain unconvinced, but he was excited enough that I'll have a look later on.

    I hear that the best way of beating Glavine is to hit the ball a long way, and then run round the basepaths quickly after it goes into the stands. Its as good a theory as any, Cubs. Test it.
