Doesn't look like BJ Ryan is going to be ready to start the season, so I'd look in to picking up Jeremy Accardo if he is available.

Whats wrong with the Flyers man, thats 10 in a row. I don't watch much of their games but looking at their roster, I have trouble figuring them out. They look good on paper and really deep at forward. The Canucks are supposedly interested in Brad Richards, wonder what it would take to get him.

that win might propel them to a playoff birth and another first round loss. its too bad luongo is being wasted on that vancouver team. such a great goalie but has absolutely no talent around him and wont sniff a cup unless major changes are made Major changes? They are 1 high end forward or two good forwards away from being serious contenders. They are set in goal and on D for the next 2 years at least. And they lost in the 2nd round last year. ryan kesler + 1st for sundin. just a guess. I wouldn't do that trade, and it would probably take more to get Sundin. I'd rather wait this year out, let Naslund and Morrisons contract run out and go from there. with that extra money they'd just give the twins and luongo raises. The Sedins have another year to go before their contracts expire and Luongo has two. I don't think this year is the Canucks best shot at a cup. If they are going to mortgage the future I'd rather it be when it would put them over the top.

Huge win for the Canucks today. After the Hawks scored late, I thought for sure that it was over. Oh and Khabibulin is a punk.

Mitchell is out, so is Krajicek. Miller and Salo are doubtful for tomorrow, and Ohlund is back in Vancouver for personal reasons. 5 of the top 6 might be out for tomorrow's game. They might have to play a forward(or two) on D tomorrow. Edler-Bourdon Weaver-Mciver ?-? And now I've just read that they've called up some guy named Zach Fitzgerald. Who? Tomorrow is not going to be pretty.

You know your offense is in dire straits if 2 goals does you in. Can the Sedins be cloned? The offense has actually played well the last two games, with 40+ shots in both of them. They just need to finish the chances they are getting, like today they've hit 4 posts in the first two periods. Its pretty frustrating to watch.
