  1. I'll wear my hat tonight. Previously, I only wore the hat when going to games, as whenever I wore it at home, we would get pounded. But I haven't been to a game in a while. Maybe it needs to release that good luck its been storing up.
  2. Ideally, I'd rather see him hit lower in the order, but yeah we need him up there right now. Question of the day: Without looking, guess who has the highest strikeout total on the Cubs?
  3. Fearless prediction: The watch works.
  4. Not really much to write about I imagine.
  5. Too early. Too many things will change by the time we actually get to the offseason for this debates to have any relevant meaning.
  6. According to the new headline at Cubs.com the players haven't quit on Dusty. I can just see Carrie Muskat asking for quotes on this article. "Say some nice things about Dusty, he could be in the hot seat." At the same time, the article kinda works on me. I mean, if the players are that insistent upon Dusty being such a good manager...
  7. B-but it takes us two games to come back from that!!
  8. In all honesty, I don't see Baker quitting or being fired before the end of the season. He wouldn't quit halfway through the season. That's not his style. Can anyone link/describe the post-game coverage? I didn't get to see any...
  9. HAha, and as if to rub it in my face, it's a 'premium' article, so I can't read it. As if they're guarding some top secret.
  10. I agree with Brenly, good but unfortunate AB for Cedeno there.
  11. Only a slightly more negative side note, Rich Hill better quit walking guys or he won't make it past the 6th inning.
  12. Hill started that AB off badly, recovered, and then walked Giles. Uggla.
  13. MUCH better inning from Hill. That was perfect. Got ahead of every hitter. That's one of the first promising innings I've seen from Hill.
  14. He'll have to do better with walks. Two in two innings is not a gem by any means. It's tempting fate.
  15. Thank you, thank you I'll be here all night.
  16. Yeah, Cedeno's last walk was on Wed 26 April against Florida, 17 games ago. Wow. Didn't realize it was quite that bad.
  17. Hill is falling behind too many batters early in the count.
  18. Cedeno is really struggling. He needs to take more walks, or else teams are just gonna keep giving him crap.
