    Well if anything was gonna happen it was gonna be right then or late in the ballgame. So I guess the drama is on hold for a while. I can hear Hawk in between innings. This could be interesting.

    1) Crap. I have to listen to Hawk and DJ. 2) Why the hell do we NEVER wear throwback uniforms? They look so awesome. I WANT THROWBACKS.

    What are they gonna do, set up a fight in the alley after today's game? AJ does nothing after getting clocked, but then he calls out Barrett? Taken completely out of context. He meant it more as a peace offering.

    Wow that's classy. Making fun of him because he can't speak english like a native english speaker. Good job. As for Hill, Ozzie's right. The guy just can't throw strikes. Comparisons to Maddux are ridiculous. Were you even watching yesterday's game? He couldn't have found the strike zone with a seeing eye dog. The guy has two pitches, neither of which were very good, but since he fooled all the AAA guys who can't follow a curveball, everyone is drooling over him.

    I'm not surprised or shocked that they picked him up, just rather confused why he's on the 40 man. To me, that says someone is getting traded.

    Thank god it will be overshadowed by the brawl so Sportscenter can't gush over it for an entire hour. What? You know ESPN better than that? Bonds doing anything > the rest of MLB combined is their philosophy. I was being sarcastic. Now we'll get to hear Tim Kurkjian and Pedro Gomez gush over Bonds for an hour. Wonderful. I think the Cubs/Sox game is going to get a lot of spotlight. I drool to think of the irony. Bonds, jealous of all the attention that Sammy and Big Mac get from hitting homeruns and Roger Maris, takes steriods and other crap to get attention. The day he finally ties Ruth, the Cubs and White Sox brawl, and no one cares about him. I hope something like a Yankees/Mets or Yankees/Red Sox brawl happens the day he breaks the record too.

    C'mon Z. Be the stopper that we need you to be. We lose tomorrow and not only are we back on the losing streak but we'll at best tie the Sox for the season series.

    Oh god. Here's that line again. As if once we make it to the ASB, magic fairies and elves will help us stop swinging at pitches three feet above our heads or grounding into double plays or getting picked off second base or missing the cutoff man or not taking walks or bunting over runners to second or making double switches. The ASB means nothing, except we won't have to watch the Cubs continue to SUCK for a couple days. I'm sorry, I'm being incredibly negative here, but I can't help it when the Pirates are nipping at our heels in MAY.
