    My god. Ronny didn't want the walk Ponson was giving him but gets a hit, Pierre only misses a GIDP because of an error, and we end up in a double play anyway. The Cubs can't friggin' catch a break.

    Which announcers? Yeah, the ones on FSN midwest. I assume it's Buck and the other guy? Anyway, good inning by Marshall, just wish he'd throw less pitches.

    nevin at 1b, walker at 2b, womack in left is my guess. My guess is Walker at 1B, Womack at 2B, and Nevin as a pinch hitter/double switch for Jacque Jones. Womack will start "Because he knows the park dude"

    Sarcastic or not...the Yankees still have Mr. Yankee Alex Rodriguez... :twisted: . But joking aside...they still have ARod/Jeter/Giambi/Posada/Cano/Damon so they still have a decent offense. So, I wouldn't dig the Yanks grave. JUST YET. They can still do it I'm guessing. As long as AJ is still on the DL and the Sox didn't build up a lead....I think its anyone's division.

    You're telling me. That was just...disappointing. At least I got to see a real playoff football game though. We outnumbered the Cheltenham fans 2-1. Our star striker left early due to a header though, and we just never put together any organised offence. Sucks we have to spend another year in League Two. And now our manager has left as well. *sigh* Did you see the Robot dance? :lol: What a knob...

    I wonder when was the last time that the Pirates finished ahead of the Cubs? I mean, if we have one goal this year, it should be to stay the hell above the Pirates. If we can't do that....geez.

    Mine ears thought I heard some boos after he grounded out last night, can anyone verify this? I can't WAIT for Neifious to be off this team. I mean honestly. It's just embarassing. Between him and 'The White Out' this team really needs some different backup players. I'm all for the hilariousness of the Hanke White Fan Club, but I really can't stand him anymore. There's GOT to be a better-hitting defensive catcher. I mean, he's not even hitting .150!

    But the Pirates are gaining on us. They've won 7 of their last 8 games and are only ONE game behind us. Not to mention they just got Casey back. We could be last in the NL Central by Saturday. The Cellar beckons. Do the Cubs answer?

    I'd rather Perez got his playing time in Cubs blowout wins, and NOT batting second on the order. That's just [expletive]. Having said that, get some runs you bums.

    Offense, if you lose this game when it's called for rain I will eat your soul. Maddux is pitching a gem and he deserves a win dagumit.
