    That's exactly what I read into it as. I bet Spier was gonna be interim, but now that he's off on DUI charges....they might as well let Dusty finish out the year. Whatever. This year is a waste anyway. They were never gonna fire Dusty before the year was out, and this "no talk of extension until after the season" is a nice and fancy way of saying that he ain't gonna be extended. After all, if he was gonna get extended, they'd do it now, not later. This clearly means to me that Bakers' contract is just gonna expire.
