Indiana won at Illinois in 2008. They did not play at Illinois last year. Meaning, IU only has a 3-game losing streak at Illinois. Considering how long it has been since IU won at other locations, say Michigan State, I don't consider that so long. And I agree, I have no idea what to expect. IU matches up pretty well with Illinois so I could see a relatively comfortable win--I do not expect a blowout at all--or I could see Illinois going off from 3 and winning. Who knows? We're soft, mentally and physically. Nobody plays or communicates on defense after the first 5 minutes of each half, there's not much hustle, and we don't block out. So, unless we shoot about 60% from 3, we'll lose by at least 15. I'm so ready to see a changing of the guard and have the Weber coached out of these guys. I think we keep it relatively close. But yeah, we aren't winning.

Who was it early in the season that said the Big 12 is a dumpster fire? I can't believe Bruce Weber might win a conference title. It only makes the fall sweeter. He won't win though, no way will he go into the phog and win. Just like there's no chance we'd lose to the worst team in D 1? Self has been taking shots at weber all year here. He will get that game.

Oh he's not that bad. He's 100x better than Bob Knight. At least you can tune Bob Knight. Vitale is obnoxious. I'm the opposite. I can tune out Vitale. I know he's just yelling about how great something/someone is, he's having fun, he's happy, whatever. He's harmless. Knight is bitter, angry and dumb. He does no prep work whatsoever. He doesn't even use names, it's just "the big kid" and "the guards". He always says something really absurd that I get fixated on and way too worked up about. Or he can't figure out what the shot clock is and why it's on the same display as the game clock. Yeah, he's terrible. He raves about gritty white guys all game. Thinks dunks and fancy passes are a careless risk. And he still thinks you win by getting guys who fit in your system. The last IU game he did, he talked about how Hulls was a great kid and really knew how to play basketball. And the rest of the time he opened his mouth he talked about how great shot fakes are. Any time anyone had a shot defended it was because they didn't shot fake. And if they made a shot it's because they shot faked with their eyes or something. He's senile, it will happen to all of us someday.

His Per is right with Rajon Rondo's. While he hasn't been as good this year as he has in the past, he isn't horrible.

I really took for granted how good we were for about a decade. That was a lot more impressive than I thought, hopefully we can keep recruiting and get to that point soon. Right now it's hard for me to watch basketball.

Oh man we are gonna struggle to another 30 win season, get a one seed, and probably make a final four. Can we ban this guy from this thread? Jesus snood, enjoy the ride once. I'm sorry I can't keep a cool level head like you when we're losing. We haven't played well for a month. Johnson is not a pg. this team has struggled to win at home. We need to improve a lot to be a FF team. Big difference in the two teams past 8 years or so, maybe that's why I get pissed easier, no? Also every year at this time you struggle. That's when Self puts in new stuff for the team to work on. You're still making the final four barring some team going crazy from three against you.

Shouldn't you be rooting for an IU win so they come to Champaign as the #1 team and set up for a potential let down? No, I'd rather IU not be #1 when they beat us by 20 in Champaign. Plus Indiana is awful. The fan base. Not the team.

He should be, I'm betting Parker gets it. Even though he hasn't been the best player on his own team this year. What do Illinois guys think of Tyler Ulis? Lol go to the illinois scout board and ask illininutt Don't, it's creepy.

Yeah some are saying he's down to Illinois and Louisville. I'm not so sure I buy that though.
