    or last year's draft for that matter Just shows what an idiot he is. i guess he can just say that b.s. on the air because most fans have no idea how the prospects that were drafted are doing. Most fans will just hear that and believe him. Yeah, although it seems a lot of fans are getting more into thaat aspect of their teams.

    I think the rivalry is fun. I always jaw with Cubs fans at Wrigley but afterwards we always shake hands. Anyway, I'll stay out of this thread. Baseball is serious business. You're always welcome here, we know you come in good fun, but you understand the effects of rubbing things in on a Cubs biased board. Yep my brother and I don't talk this weekend.

    Post of the day. Gotta win three of four. Totally agree. How can they be surging with that staff? They have been surging due to Reyes, Wells, and now Piniero all pitching well. Since the AS break Reyes has an ERA+ of 151, Wells has an ERA+ of 125, and Piniero has an ERA+ of 160 in his 3 start. Which is ridiculous. But, par for the course for that franchise. TLR and Satan agreed on a mid-season contract extension. I dont see how it is any different then what Jacque is doing right now. None of them are as bad as they were early in the season, and none of them are as good as they are playing now. Ha, I am sure you don't. Kip Wells isn't better than half of our AA staff right now. Piniero is terrible, but I am sure he will do just fine for you. Reyes is an ok pitcher. Looper is a reliever, a crap one at that. Congrats, once again you have overacheived, it must be nice to have this crap fall to you every single year.

    Why isn't Bruce up, since he has put up better numbers at a higher level? it's not like they play for the same team. No I know, it just seems like the Tigers are making a mistake pulling this kid up way to soon.

    Ok, I know this is mean...but I just have to do it... He's gone. Hendry screwed this up, like he does everything else. No he isn't. He wants to stay with the Cubs and SOMEHOW they'll get it done.Sure, except he isn't going to wait until our sale gets sorted out. We had our window and we blew it. :wink: I don't mind being wrong in this case at all.

    Heh, baseball is fun when both teams are in the race. You know what would be even more fun. One of your talented players gets hurt. Make it a real race. Like Pujols maybe. Or Carpenter or something... Please they really wanna play the pitchers being hurt card with us??? Yeah, Prior has been out all year for us. No sympathy ;) Yeah a healthy Prior would have had this race done.
