The Pirates only managed 4 runs in 2 games against the Ass Cubs. I'd hate to be THOSE guys. :wave: Honestly, this is the one time where I think it's okay for a fan of another team to come and talk crap. You guys suck ass and have for years, but at least you know you're going to suck. We have $140 million payroll and are absolutely horrid. In some ways, I envy teams like the Pirates being able to trade their veteran players and rebuild through the minor league system. Of course, when it is a neverending cycle of trading players and starting over, that's no fun either. They never seem to time it right. The Marlins do a better job of that. -
Can he take Soriano with him? Prolly, Soriano knows the language.

Pretty damn good game. Did they finally fix the problems they had with putting on the first two? yes with the new motion controller. And it plays smooth now? Damn, might have to pick that one up.

That's really not fair though two of those are by Fontenot, who's garbage. One is Lilly. Should only be 3. fair point, ohlendorf isn't in the national league so he doesn't face pitchers in other games, and he doesn't face bad hitters on other teams either. Awesome a sarcastic response. Would have never expected that. Fontenot is about as bad as it gets right now. yes in response to a bad post by you, which i also never would have expected. Damn that hurt.

That's really not fair though two of those are by Fontenot, who's garbage. One is Lilly. Should only be 3. But he still is facing an opposing pitcher in the other games that helped him accumulate his K/IP # and most teams have a guy that is similar to Fontenot's suckage I don't know about that. Who do the Cardinals have who is as bad as Fontenot? The Brewers? khalil greene, jason kendall, bill hall. Hall isn't playing much. Kendall never Ks, which is what you were talking about, and Greene is a winner. Khalil Greene sucks as bad.

You're playing the Bad News Bears. That's how. Cause Soto made an awful throw after not really hustling after the ball. It wasn't that bad, just a little low. It wasn't in the dirt by any means. Lilly just whiffed on it. He could have lobbed it in time. Instead he fires the ball about 70 mph at his feet.

Probably after Delgado, Beltran, Reyes, Wagner, Putz get back and they trade for Holiday. Thats what I figured. We are catching some breaks this year for sure.

Neither Flynn or Curry are going to be long-term starters. In fact, I bet both will be the first guard off the bench for the better part of the careers. I like both players games, but neither strikes me as a player who can start for a championship team, or even a contender. I see Flynn in the Nate Robinson/Earl Watson energy guard role for the Wolves. And Curry to me looks like a guy you bring in for a clutch 3 pointer. Both will be solid players, but neither are long term starters, IMO. did anyone really think that rajon rondo or derek fisher would be players who started for a championship team when they were drafted? Rondo maybe, a lot of people were pretty high on him.

I'm not trying to police it, I'm trying to understand it because some people seem to REALLY hate this team more often than not. Its hard to explain. Id probably be happier if I werent a Cubs fan, or at least have a lot less stress in my life. Yes, I hate this team at this moment. I hate they way the team is playing. I hate Lou Piniella. I Hate Jim Hendry. I hate Milton Bradley, but no matter what, Im going to keep crawling back like a little dog. I dont hate the Cubs, but I really hate the way the team is playing. I cant explain why. Its just the way it is. During games, yeah, a lot of us get irrational. and its a lot easier to say I hate the team than it is to say I hate the way the team is playing at this time. What makes it worth it is the payoff. If they ever do win it all could you imagine if you had walked away? Which is why were not bangwagon fans. Im sick of the cliche that real fans dont boo. Real fans do boo. Fake fans go away, and come back when the team decides to do better. Yeah, at this point I think it's much worse to sit here and be ok with what has happened over the past 7 months. Hendry took an awesome team and gutted it. Any other profession he's fired. Hell in some he's facing criminal charges. Yet because of our team in limbo, he gets a pass.
