wtf I am not suprised this is happening. Crean did an interview not to long ago and talked about running certain kids off the team to make room for more that were more talented. You can't say that even if you are doing it without some kids getting turned off big time.

The Williams one doesn't really matter, but just shows he either wasn't paying attention to what he was talking about or just didn't know what he was talking about. The Sampson thing was out of line. He called Weber out on ESPN and never issued an apology after it was proven that Sampson was a big POS cheater. Real stand up. And if there's one thing we can't tolerate here, it's baseless criticism of Bruce Weber. Touche, although he is doing it in front of a national audience. And, for the record, I was always fine with how Weber called Sampson out.

Jay Bilas is the [expletive] man. The last few years he's become brutally honest. Bilas is an ACC homer. In 05 he dropped the gem that Deron Williams, the Big 10 preseason POTY, wouldn't be in the top 15 players in the ACC. Yeah spot on jackass. Oh come on. You can find a flaw with any broadcaster over their careers. Especially if he says something negative about your favorite team. He's the best and there's no one really close. He and Herbstreit (and he's said things about Iowa over the years that were inaccurate or pissed me off) are my favorite two tv analysts in sports. Although Gottlieb pisses me off sometimes, I love him too. I'm sorry but I just don't think Bilas is that great. He speaks like a [expletive] coach in his analysis. Gottlieb is way better.

No, Bilas is one of the best commentators in the game today. Doesn't mean he's always right, and he admitted his Williams comment was way off at the end of the year. Heck, he called the Illinois-Arizona game in '05. I don't care, don't like him a bit. He ever say that he was wrong about Weber crying about Sampson? Or did he once again totally put his big foot in his mouth?

Losing four out of five at home to end the year if that happens. Pretty bad.

Same thing we did with Prior. Will sell tickets to both AA and AAA this year as he will spend a bit of time with both. As for the Wood Prior arguments, man I cannot believe we had two talents like that at the same time and broke them both. Sheesh.

Watching the tournament has made me ill. -Ben Allen (who transfered when Sampson's major class came in) is averaging almost 11 and 8 for St. Mary's (though he would have been a senior in 2009). -Jordan Crawford is putting up POTY numbers for Xavier the last couple weeks. -Terrell Holloway (former Sampson commit) is the PG for Xavier and having a strong year. -Armon Bassett averaged 17 for Ohio U this year. -Devin Ebanks was a Sampson commit and is putting up 12 and 8 for one of the nation's top team. -Eli Holman is putting up 12 and 8 for Detroit. Too bad he cheated like a mofo to recruit these guys, eh? No one could really want Bassett on their team after all knowing everything that came out about him.

Again, I said I didn't see the play in question. But, if you think Bruce has been treating McCamey the way he treats the other guys on the team you're nuts. I don't think there's necessarily a problem with that. Different players need different tactics. If he treated Davis the way he treats DMac, Davis would probably quit the team. If he treated DMac the way he treats Davis, he'd barely be a 3rd teamer in the Big Ten Fair enough.

Actually his favorites are Kansas and Alabama from what I've heard. There's a a lot of talk he'll go to college if he's not in the top 3 rounds. He says he really wants to go to school. I think the money will talk, though. I don't think Kansas is one of his favorites. I know one of his baseball coaches and from what I heard his family was really excited about one scholly offer. That totally contradicts everything I've read. His family is allegedly a huge KU family, and he loved Gill. Who did you hear he was psyched about? Sent you a pm. -
What a tool. tim, i'm not going to call for him to be fired, but i sure as hell am going to be critical of everything he does until he makes a deep tourney run. Deeper than 2005? So you're saying we have to win the championship to be happy. Gotcha. 1 tournament win in 5 years ain't cutting it. title game appearance aside, any other coach at a major program would be getting the same heat with those numbers. This is what bothers me more than anything. The press isn't even calling him out yet. Although I think a lot of that is Lavin has done most of our ESPN games and he would never say anything bad about Bruce. I just wish that he wouldn't have a ready made excuse for each year. Before the year starts he's crying about not having a leader, you're the coach, you can lead them. And to top it off you recruited the team without any leaders. No GM gave you this roster. Oh well, like eveyone has said if he doesn't do anything next year this will take care of itself.
