He's in his mid January slump. It happens every year. He usually comes out of it in early Feb and goes on a tear. I thought we would be good enough we could win without him. What with having more top 100 players than anyone not named Ohio St. and Michigan St. in the conference. I was wrong.

I would also start to get Crandall Head some minutes. Odds are he's gonna need to be able to play some point next year, at the very least he will need to contribute. It would be nice to get him some minutes now so he isn't basically a freshman again next year. But, I am sure we will see the same crap lineup with the possible exception of Jereme in Bill's spot. God forbid we ever, in the 4 years they are here, put the pressure on Tisdale and Davis.

I'm hoping Richmond will improve his jumper this off-season. Remember, Luther Head was a terrible jump shooter his freshman year, too. Weber seems to have lost his seniors. If he realizes that he'll play Leonard, Griffey and Richmond more. Paul and Richardson can still be salvaged but they won't be if the offense still centers on McCamey. I would start DMac Paul Cole Richmond Leonard from here on out.

If we didn't have Deron Williams when Weber took over, Bruce would have been long gone by now.

What top level '13 recruits are possibly gonna want to play for us with the way this is going? Come be the next Crandall Head, is he still alive by the way? This is a trainwreck.

He is in the minds of about 90% of the fanbase, but the AD is absurdly loyal, he's most likely safe through at least next season There's no way we don't win the NIT next year. We are gonna be loaded and have experience in that tourny. Honest question, how much does Simeon beat IU by if they play today? 10?

Next year no point guard we take a step back. Then Jereme goes pro and we take a step back. We could be looking at 8 years between tourny wins. Pretty awesome.

Are those guys really any better coming out of high school than what you've had with Paul, Richardson, Richmond, Leonard and Head with an upperclassmen like McCamey running the point? Honestly I don't know but by recruiting rankings it seems like the same kind of guys you already have that he can't maximize. This a thousand times this. We have a lot of talent now and we suck. Please god end this nightmare.

He's just struck out over 5 years. 5 more and he could really damage the prestige of our team. You grossly overestimate the "prestige" of Illini hoops. This is the best run of recruiting we've had in a long time. If we loose the '11 and '13 classes, you'll see damage to the program. Now if we could get reassurance Jerrance would stay and most of the recruits would come, then cut Weber loose, by all means. Top 15 wins all time. Top 15 winning percentage all time. Most wins in the NCAA Tourny that doesn't have a title. Please, please don't buy into Peoriaman's we weren't that good anyways schtick. lol, only 34 wins behind Penn.... You don't think Illinois basketball has a pretty high prestige? Higher than what Bruce Weber has produced the past 6 years?

Larue hates Weber, like on a personal level. Bruce is a nice guy, I've met him, wanted him to do well. But, it ain't happening. And he's too proud to quit. It's time to make the change.

Yes. You are out of your mind. Hire someone else, keep Jerrance on and start all over. I'm not thrilled at the compromise, but losing all our recruits would be a catastrophe. Why? Would we miss the tournament?

Easily, midwest #1 seed seriously though, I know they played like and are a bunch of [expletive] idiots but, must every wierd [expletive] up bounce and shot goes against the Illini? If it isn't Battle hitting 45 footers, it's some dork stiff like Plitchard tipping the ball in, will it ever even out? When you allow an Indiana team missing two of its starters to be in the game with you, you know what yeah you're right woe is us. Just can't catch a break.

Weird criticism because how many teams go more than 8 deep in March? And who's worried about us making a deep run into March at this point? We just keep moving the goal posts further and further away. Now we just want to get in. To clarify, I'm certainly not saying this is acceptable I know, I'm just saying that's the fan bases thought process now.
