  2. Prairie View was the college with the longest losing streak in history. They lost 80 straight games during the 90's. Holy smokes.
  3. Mr. T: the first man to ever laugh at a Bob joke
  4. just started the AIM chat for today. If you want in, PM me your screen name
  5. Vandy doesn't really stand out all that much. The only thing that is really above average is their hitting, which is pretty decent. Aaron Westlake, their 1st baseman has the top BA in the SEC IIRC. Other than that, nothing really exceptional to say about them.
  6. Y'all are lucky as hell that Bittle is hurt. As far as offense goes, Ole Miss softballs people to death with singles like Team Japan or something. Don't worry about any power (7 HR is the most by any player) but this team can hit like crazy. Our starting nine have a BA of .332 and an OBP of .420. The overall team avg is .315 with team obp at .404 What kind of game does Mizzou play?

  8. Ian Kinsler should be on there somewhere I think, especially if Dustin is so high.
  9. The problem is that some people who might be good productive posters in this thread don't even know that it exists. Because unless you use the "view active topics" button, then many posters might never know it is even here. Like I said, why would most posters have any reason to view the contents of the Draft Forum until around draft time?
  10. Ole Miss is always getting screwed by the NCAA in regionals. Can't wait to see who they give us to play.
  11. And that's an understandable opinion to have, but I'd like to see for myself what it would look like were it given a chance in a more high traffic area and I'd appreciate it if the moderators would at least be open minded and give it a try next season. Good or bad posts notwithstanding, I think a College Baseball thread deserves more than 4 or 5 pages with posts coming from the same small group of people.
  12. This is my third year saying this, but I'll just reiterate that this thread has piss poor participation (only 15 separate members have posted in it) because it is hidden away in a forum that people rarely look at. It deserves to get max exposure and be in a high traffic subforum like Social next year which is where the other College Sports threads are. Seriously. Very few members venture into the June Draft subforum until it is...well...time for the DRAFT. There's a lot of great information and cool stats posted in this thread and it mostly goes unseen. This 2009 version only has 4 pages. The 2008 version had 6 pages, 2007 had 5, and 2006 also had 5. I guarandamntee you that you'd have more than 4-6 pages if this were in Social next year.
  13. damn you. beat me to it.
  14. I honestly feel physically ill right now. This is truly painful to watch.

  16. the Cubs body language is terrible. Look shell shocked. Like Napoleon's army leaving Russia or something.
  17. YES, interleague play has definitely hurt the World Series, at least to me. I'm definitely no fan of interleague.
  18. Everyone I pal around with went to the Nuggets game, which is only about six blocks from where I live. But I really have zero interest in the NBA. Although I think I may got to the Monday game just to say I saw Kobe Bryant play.
