  1. Love the atmosphere there. They are cheering every strike.
  2. go Tolbert! c'mon Twins
  3. Not sure if you were serious, but they do, in fact, exist. They're both 1-AA teams. Jackson State is probably best known as Walter Payton's alma mater. I never knew that. interesting factoid that the best Wide Receiver ever and maybe the best Running Back ever came out of tiny black colleges in Mississippi. Payton came out of Jackson State and Jerry Rice out of Mississippi Valley State. Also, Steve McNair came out of another MS black college: Alcorn University.

  6. I absolutely cannot tell the difference in the voices of Jaws and Grudden
  7. holy crap i just flipped back to see if the game was over. holy smokes.
  8. Probably a safe assumption on my part to assume that Fernando Tatis holds the MLB record.

  10. Yes, of course. It WAS Bush's fault! http://www.suntimes.com/sports/olympics/1804170,CST-NWS-olyresent03.article Forget the fact that Chicago was named a finalist under Bush's watch; it was Bush's fault we didn't get it. I really don't see any anti-US sentiment in the decision. Money, as in bribes, is the determining factor IMO.
  11. respect earned by being historically good for the last 10 years. it's hard for teams with no history to comprehend, i know. we've got 3 National Championships...50 years ago
  12. gotta love a team with two losses in the top 20
  13. gotta pull for the Twinks! my cousin Matt Tolbert has been playing third base for them lately.
  14. Harper with ANOTHER pick. 5 INT's this year for him.
  15. I'm clearly the resident Saints homer, but that's way premature. The Giants are really damn good too.
  16. lol, love it Nawlins: 17 Jorts: 0
  17. Darren Sharper with another pick 6. For an old dude he's still pretty badass. Great pickup for the Saints this offseason. 4 INT's already.
  18. Yeah, an Olympic website for a non-Olympic year will sell like hotcakes. captain obvious, haha
  19. I hope everyone can now see how LUCKY lsu is. they've been doing this for YEARS. I am not saying they arent a great program., but they get more breaks, i swear.
  20. Georgia is going to beat LSU
  21. Brazilians are mocking us now. oh nooooes http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9872/creui.jpg
  22. haha, nice
  23. That's REALLLLY screwed up
  24. As far as NL ROY goes, it's up in the air now alot more than I would have thought a month or two ago. Happ and Hanson are nearly identical: Hanson: 21 GS | 11-4 W-L | 2.89 ERA | 144 ERA+ | 1.18 WHIP | 127.2 IP | 116 K | 46 BB Happ: 22 GS | 10-4 W-L | 2.91 ERA | 147 ERA+ | 1.24 WHIP | 142.1 IP | 101 K | 46 BB If voters are split between those two guys, there might be enough votes for Chris Coghlan to sneak in somehow. Coghlan leads the majors in hits (107) and the NL in average (.368) since the All-Star break. For the season, he leads all rookies in average (.318) and OBP (.387).
