  1. Did Schilling deserve twice the votes that McGriff got? I have a hard time evaluating Schilling's place in baseball history
  2. Being in the SEC West blows If Ole Miss and Miss St. were one school we'd probably compete for a Western title now and again, but as of now it's unlikely with our in-state talent being split between two SEC schools and having Bama and LSU as our neighbors stealing some of that talent as well.
  3. What Rivals says as of this morning
  4. Considering that most of the team is made up of guys who are freshmen and sophomores who didn't play at all last year or didn't play much, I'd say it's a benefit. The Rebels under Freeze are most certainly not what they were under Nutt, so pointing out that they had 2 wins last year under Nutt is pointless when you look at stat differentials like this: Points Scored 2011: 193 2012: 409 PPG 2011: 16.1 2012: 31.5 Yards 2011: 3375 2012: 5509 Sacks 2011: 13 2012: 37 Hard to imagine any team ever having a more successful turn around in a single season than that.
  5. OK Vandy was a reach, ha, but having not seen ND play at all this year, I was stunned at the difference in speed and physicality between the teams.
  6. Well Kentucky was a border state so....
  7. Replace Ole Miss with Miss St. Ole Miss won't be a gimme win next year. This year they lost by 3 to A&M and 6 to LSU (thanks to a 4th qtr punt return TD) and are only losing two starters.
  8. This is just goofy. It's highly unlikely ND could have beaten Bama, Georgia, A&M and LSU in the regular season. Those teams were all deep and talented enough to play extremely competitive games against each other. ND didn't just get their butts kicked because Saban game planned well against them, but also because they were entirely overmatched by the speed and physicality of Bama.
  9. Other than A&M, I don't see a loss for Bama next year. http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-13/sec/2013-alabama-crimson-tide-football-schedule.php Their schedule sets up insanely for them. - They get Kentucky and Tennessee out of the East - They have an open date before both A&M AND LSU.
  10. Maybe we can transition into playing more weak out of conference teams such as Notre Dame. The list keeps growing. #5lossfans ahem...6 losses I wasn't prepared to make this statement before last night, but after watching ND last night and how slow they were, I feel safe saying that ND, in addition to the loss against Bama, would have also had losses like Ole Miss did to Georgia, LSU, A&M, and probably Texas and Vandy too. ND at best is a 3 loss SEC team.

  12. Hard to imagine. This pool is absurd.
  13. An Auburn grad as well, which makes her plan even more devious and transparent.
  14. holy isht, Notre Dame's players look like they are hostages in Iraq or something in this press conference

  16. ND got a first down!
  17. Ha, nice tackle #17
  18. hahahaha. outstanding
  19. HOLY SMOKES....a holding call against Bama
  20. PAC-12 refs have obviously watched some film of SEC refs and learned not to ever, ever call a hold on Bama.
  21. Irish fans are going to be thankful tomorrow for those blown calls because It'll give them something to delude themselves about.
  22. Is Te'o really "one of the most celebrated players in the history of college football"?
  23. This exactly.
