    you're right, I'm sure the white dudes keeping stats for the mlb tried to downgrade or belittle the stats of the negro league as much as they could It didn't have anything to do with white guys keeping stats. Negro League stats are considered spotty because they are incomplete, not because the stats were belittled by white people. The reason they are incomplete is because often times they didn't want to pay or couldn't afford an official scorekeeper for their games and also because many of their games weren't covered by the Negro press members. If a member of the press did attend the game, they'd keep their own scorecard and then publish it along with their game report. That's mostly where our Negro League stats come from: newspapers. So finding the statistics are the issue, not people belittling them.

    I know it’s only his 3rd career start or whatever, but he is missing some wide ass open receivers. He doesn’t seem to go through his progressions fast enough and ends up getting sacked. Dude has seemingly been sacked more times in the past few games than Drew had been all season. I’m really upset to not see Winston with this offense. He’s a doofus but he’s got a metric ton of arm talent. All that said, that Eagles loss was on the defense inexplicably forgetting how to contain the run. Just brutal. Saints are usually do for one of those games a year. Hopefully that was it.

    Not sure about Chiefs, but I think the Braves name is safe. I’m pretty sure something like the Tomahawk Chop is going to go away, but the name itself is probably safe. The Braves have a pretty strong relationship with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and they are strongly opposed to a name change. Braves is just another name for warrior and a “brave” one at that.
