  1. It’s not true until mustache man posts about it.
  2. Bummer, he was fun to watch. Hope it’s not serious Done for the year
  3. This Taysom Hill thing can work
  4. So is he out for the season? That sounds serious enough not to mess around with by trying to soldier through until fully healed. They say only out 3 weeks. We’ll see.
  5. Turns out Brees actually has 11 broken ribs. So the dude led a 5 play touchdown drive (all places) in 30 seconds with 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Yikes.
  6. It was weird or it was in your hometown? I lived in State College from 86-92, and my parent lived there until 2011, so it’s as close to a hometown as I’ve got
  7. Guess Jersey is sleeping in. I won’t believe it until he posts mustache man’s tweet about it. was up at 6:30am for hockey reasons, I apologize for missing this one.
  8. They also had this as “runner down” upon review. Replay official was either drunk, on the take, or has no idea what he’s doing.
  9. This was confirmed as targeting upon review. Good grief. What the hell else is a defender supposed to do? He had no time to do anything except turn his body away. Is he supposed to dive out of the path of the receiver in less than a second?
  10. Guess Jersey is sleeping in. I won’t believe it until he posts mustache man’s tweet about it.
  11. Sean Payton playing games
  12. Well, Payton has been saying for 3 years now that he envisions Hill as a future NFL starter. So I guess he may as well start the experiment now.
  13. Brees with collapsed lung and multiple rib fractures. This might be the end for him.
  14. Was expected due to the 14 day contact tracing rule. Since one of the Aggie players tested positive, everyone who was sitting within 15 feet of him on their flight back from Carolina got contract traced, which was like 16 players. So because of the 14 day protocol they were going to lose two games no matter what
  15. Hugh Freeze, part deaux? For the past few years Sankey essentially had Freeze blacklisted from returning to the SEC. Several schools had apparently wanted him for OC jobs but Sankey shot the hires down. However, rumor is that he’s open to Freeze returning now. South Carolina maybe? I could see it. I think Freeze ends up somewhere out East for his next gig, either a place like USCe or an ACC school. I think he’d have too much baggage to overcome on the recruiting trail if he was in the SEC West’s territory. On the other hand he could just stay at Liberty. He’s getting paid like 3 mil a year with an Uber friendly media and the fan base doesn’t expect much so he’s got very little pressure. He also gets to play 3 or 4 “free shots” every year against bigger schools, which is where Freeze excels. If you recall from his tenure at Ole Miss, Freeze would routinely beat the Bama’s and LSU’s or have those games be super close, but he’d lose to Memphis or Arkansas.
  16. Pretty sure Muschamp is about to be gone at USCe. Ole Miss put up 708 yards and their QB was 28/32, 513, 5 TD
  17. Another aspect of this is that injuries and suspensions factor into your positional count as well. It’s my understanding that the Mizzou and Georgia game isn’t happening because of contact tracing among the OL, a couple of injuries, and one suspension. Apparently they have 7 OL to play the game but their center threw a punch last week and is suspended for the first half. Had he not thrown that punch the game would have likely been played. There are some rumblings that LSU intentionally listed guys as injured at a key spot (QB) to avoid playing Alabama this week. A couple of SEC coaches have thrown some shade at LSU about it during their press conferences this week (though clearly not mentioning LSU by name)
  18. Yeesh. Not sure you're actually understanding what's happening here. There are currently only 2 players and 1 staff member on Texas A&M's team who have tested positive for Covid. However, due to contact tracing policies, those players deemed to have been "contact traced" must quarantine for 14 days. There is no way to test out of being contact traced. You have to be out the full two weeks. However, the player who tested positive can be back as soon as they test negative (due to it running its course or due to a false positive). The way they determine whether they have to postpone a game varies by league. In the SEC there have to be 53 scholarship players available to play and then it is determined by position. A team must have one quarterback, seven OL (including one center), and four defensive linemen in order for the game to be played.
