  1. Don't sully the issue with facts. Here are some facts that I will post again: Last year FSU beat their opponents by an average of 39.4 points. This year they are beating their opponents by an average of 14.2 points. Last year through 10 games they gave up 111 points. This year through 10 games they've given up 228 points. The only teams they have beaten by more than two TD's are Wake, The Citadel, and Syracuse.
  2. You are trying way too hard
  3. People are skeptical because FSU isn't really dominating anyone they play and are squeaking by some teams. FSU is barely half as good as they were last year. 4. Not sure if it matters, but Ruth wasn't a starting position player until he was 24.
  5. Stanton is about to make 68,500 dollars every day for the next 13 years.
  6. FSU is such garbage. They only have 2 wins against current Top 25 teams: #22 Clemson and #24 Louisville. The only teams they have beaten by more than 2 touchdowns are The Citadel, Wake Forest, and Syracuse. They have four wins that were within 6 points. You are NOT an all world football team if you are just a few bad plays away from being 6-4 or 7-3 in that ishtty conference. I'm not saying I disagree with them being ranked so high, because yah, they are undefeated, but jeez...
  7. The SEC appears to be especially bad this year. Florida lost to Miami Auburn lost to Colorado Ole Miss lost to Charleston Southern Georgia lost to Georgia Tech Mizzou lost to UMKC
  8. I think the traditional idea is that rainy weather helps a run and pound offense like Arky, but I'm not sure if that's totally true. As long as wind isn't too much of a factor, I think rainy conditions can favor pass heavy teams due to the DB's not being able to stay with WR routes. Either way, I'm genuinely terrified of this game. If Ole Miss can get past the Hogs, I have little doubt they'll beat Mississippi State in Oxford. The home team pretty much always wins that game and I think Dak is 1) beat to isht now that the games are adding up (he is only averaging 71 yards his last 4 games), and 2) is wholly unimpressive against defenses that have a pulse. He has only played 3 teams that are in the top half defensively in the SEC and in those 3 games he has 5 picks. Ole Miss leads the SEC in INT's by a wide margin and I expect them to pick Prescott off multiple times. My point in saying all that is that if Ole Miss beats Ark and MS State, then they'll get to sit back that night and watch the Iron Bowl. If Auburn can manage to beat Alabama (sooo unlikely), then Ole Miss will win the West. So ya, the Arkansas game is HUUUUGGGGEEE for us.
  9. The key to this whole game may be the health of Rebel LT Laremy Tunsil. He is possibly the best O-lineman in the SEC (only given up one sack so far in his 21 games) but partially tore a bicep early in the LSU game (great timing). The offense is not at all the same without him, but he is expected to return for the Arkansas game. His impact, or lack thereof, will be profound.
  10. They could be, although it would be completely absurd. Not necessarily disagreeing, but are they not one of the best 25 in the country? Only game that was a bad loss was Georgia, and that was close at the end. Very near losses to Bama and MS State. It could be argued that the Hogs have been the most consistently solid team all season and has played toe to toe with anyone and everyone in the country. But yeah, I do see your point. Hogs have played well and anyone who thinks Bielema has done a bad job is just uninformed. They worry me a great deal, now and in the future. The team that Ole Miss has played that is the most like Arkansas is LSU and the Rebels obviously lost that game. However, the reason Ole Miss lost to LSU is because Freeze went insanely conservative for whatever reason. For example, Ole Miss ran the ball up the middle on nine first downs in the second half for a net gain of 2 yards (we have scat backs and a questionable offensive line). Freeze was trusting his defense to win it for him and it resulted in a loss. I don't think he'll make that same mistake against Arkansas. I expect Ole Miss to pass, pass, and then pass some more. Freeze is going to live by Bo or die by Bo and these days you are more likely going to win by Bo. The whole "good Bo/bad Bo" thing is just a lazy media narrative from the last couple of years and isn't really reflected in the stats this year (he has ONE interception in SEC play as opposed to Dak Prescott, for example, who has 8 in SEC play). There are also a couple of intangibles to note in that game. First, Ole Miss is coming off what is basically two weeks of rest (the Presby game was essentially a scrimmage). Second, Arkansas will be high as a kite and full of confidence after beating LSU AND they'll be playing for a Bowl game. That scares me. I do think Arkansas is going to put up some good gains on the ground and will score 14-17, but I don't think that'll be enough points to outscore the Rebels. It'll also be interesting to see just how big of a loss Treadwell is to the offense.
  11. They got schooled by the Aints. That's pretty unfortunate.
  12. Saints and Falcons tied for division lead at 4-6. El oh el
  13. Mullen to Florida makes sense.
  14. lol. holy isht ND
  15. They certainly gave the committee the excuse they need to leave Mississippi State in the top 4. MS State isn't that great. The committee needs to recognize this. They've kept them up there because they were an undefeated SEC team. As a one loss SEC team, they're far less attractive than their other options I realize this. Now they have no pretext to pretend that they are a great team.

  17. I won't say we should be #1, but there is no reason for us to be dropping to #3. One thing I'm getting from the committee is that they're making this up as they go along. There are no rules, no framework, nothing. It's all subjective. I think they are trying to get ratings for whatever matchup is going on that week.
  18. ESPN reporting that the 2016 season will open with Ole Miss v. FSU at the Citrus Bowl.
  19. So now we get to make fun of him!
  20. Precisely. The ACC is a complete joke. Freaking DUKE is 8-1. FSU would have 2 or 3 losses in the SEC West. Bama, Auburn, and Ole Miss are better teams this year than FSU. Maybe Miss St too. Also, Ole Miss is #3 in Sagarin. They are seven measly points from being undefeated and would be favored the rest of the way. So aggravating. Those losses were so brutal the way they happened.
  21. What they did last year is irrelevant. In practice the defending national champion is generally put in the poll possession in te rankings. They also started the year at no. 1 and were able to beat Clemson absent their best player. I can understand them slipping in favor of a different team if that team were both dominant and unbeaten. But oregon lost a home game so I don't get elevating them over FSU. I'll admit, as much as I enjoy seeing misfortune befall FSU, it is a little weird that an undefeated from a power 5 is ranked beneath another power 5 with one loss this late in the year. The ACC is a complete joke though.

  23. Florida will beat FSU.
