    This isn’t the first time Russel and domestic violence were spoken of in the same sentence; They looked into her Instagram allegations 18 months ago. With the current #metoo movement, it would be a PR disaster for the entire organization to turn a blind eye towards this sort of thing.

    i remember this. prior was on mac, jurko and harry a few weeks prior to the incident hinting that he wasn't a fan of "meet and greet" events.

    For whatever reason I'll always remember that in 2006 in one of the worst seasons I can remember as a Cubs fan, where they played out the string after D-Lee broke his wrist and Dusty had completely soured on the team, that the Cubs went like, 10-6 against the Cardinals. (I looked it up at it was 11-8, oh well) Anyway its not a real thing but its the only thing I'll remember from that season. Didn’t they sweep the Cardinals at Wrigley? I remember going to a game in late July/early August 2006 and it was hot as horsefeathers in Chicago (close to 100 degrees).

    He didn't miss significant time in either 2015 or 2016, it's not like he's never been able to stay healthy for a whole season. There's no reason to expect he's going to miss 6 weeks every season for the next few years unless you think he's just chronically broken now at age 24. this might come off at nitpicking but didn't russell pull a hamstring or have leg issues before the 2015 NLCS and was left off the roster?
