    OK, I have slept, gone for a run, ate breakfast, read Bible, and showered. AAARRRGGGHGHHH, I dont like Anaheim!!! I dont like NHL officiating when it works against my team!!!

    I agree, I dont even understand why they are so picky on this. Has there been an injury to a goalie that could have been prevented by blowing a quick whistle in that situation?

    I predict the wings win the next game by 4 goals...Wings completely kicked their butts tonight...huge officiating break for anaheim

    seeing the highlight of Selannes goal again, there wasnt anything Chelios could have done. Except not be so slow.

    Just say it... Pronger is a [expletive] sucker... don't think anyone would disagree. I don't hate the Wings players, in fact I really really like Lidström/Datsyuk/Zetterberg/Hossa... I just can't logically root for the Wings against the Ducks being a Hawks fan. That being said, I root for my Finns when my team is not involved, I've been a HUGE Selanne fan since I lived in Helsinki in 2007 when he paraded the Cup through the Finnish Capital, and I was actually able to lay hands on the the greatest trophy in all of sports. I will never forget Selanne or touching the Cup... so I must root for Finns/Selanne :-D cool..did Fillpula take it there this year? I can't take a team who has 33% Swedes, seriously :-D Valtteri Filppula is from Vantaa which is basically Helsinki... 12G 28A isn't going to sway me... he has to play among those 8 Swedes... he's obviously handicapped! I think he is an honorary Swede, seriously. 12/28 isnt bad for a 3rd line center

    cyno, you will have a seizure if the Hawks play the Ducks in a series. You think Calgary and Vancouver play a little on edge, Anaheim jumps off the edge. It was a touchy call on Pronger though. Sure was several other plays on both sides that merit more consideration than that one. But Pronger has earned his rep, so now he has to live with it.

    the hawks have relied quite a bit on getting on hot streaks during games. The Canucks have done a great job of controlling the tempo and not letting the Hawks get on a emotional hot steak

    just to be objective, the Blackhawks are taking plenty of liberties in this game, so can we please talk about a hockey game instead of not controlling our emotions

    just a couple of quick observations Buff got the early penalty for goalie interference because of reputation. The refs have seen the replays of previous Hawks/Canucks games. Canucks got a goal because Eager was more concerned about being an idiot instead of playing hockey.

    I just checked the box score and about fainted. Was Lou trying to come up with the worse possible lineup without using more than one pitcher? If that is the case, he wins.

    Was a wishy washy penalty... there "was contact" but Buff also lost an edge. Bieksa should have gotten about three or four other minors that game, so it evened out. I provided a picture earlier in this thread of him holding Versteeg and also when he ragdolled Sharp at the end of the 2nd period. It all evens out... kinda. Probably. Most Wings fans believe in the HNIC conspiracy also. I dont personally. I think most fans emotional attachment makes them unobjective viewers. Just to be fair I am sure that Buff and Eager could probably rack up 4 or 5 penalties a game also. Same as Maltby and Chelios. Also, do make sure your game doesnt go OT tonight....Dont want it to interfere with the Wings/Ducks coverage too much.

    Bieksa got a hooking penalty when Buff ran Luongo? I missed all of that until just now. Cyno I think your HNIC conspiracy theory really gets thrown out the window on that one.
