    I've noticed it, and it comes across as really condescending. "Aww, we were once there too. Keep trying little buddy. You'll get your shot." Also noticed that if I have the audacity to pick the Cubs in a prediction thread, Cards fans pop out of the woodwork telling me to "try actually winning something before I start talking trash". Clearly, only the BFIB can get excited about their team's chances.

    I actually sort of like them in a retro sorta way. I love them just about as much as I can love something Sox related. I never lived in Chicago so I don't have the hate for the White Sox the way I do the Cardinals.

    #BFIB send racist tweets and FB posts to Heyward and rain boos on him every time he comes to the plate in STL. Oh wait, BOLD predicitons? Addison Russell makes the ASG roster and goes on to hit 20+ HRs on the season.

    This makes it sound a little too optimistic to me actually. I have nothing to support this claim, but thumb injuries are a bitch. The Cards are death-spiraling. Definitely seeing Cardinals fans concerned that it's something that could linger throughout the season. #nextmanup #thecardinalway

    I think you are going to disappointed very often (for whatever reason it is that you prefer that), then...probably every time Fowler is in the lineup. I know. I'd just like to see a little better contact in front of Heyward/Rizzo/Bryant/Schwarber. Also, someone who wouldn't swing out his shoes every time he sees the wind blowing out. Minor quibble, really.

    I know it's Spring Training and lineups really don't matter, but I prefer that Fowler not be our leadoff guy too often.

    At least that is happening in real life. You know, his surroundings? Meh, I'm glad I haven't reproduced. If he gets hit by a bat I doubt his parents would take any solace in "well at least he was distracted by something other than a phone." C'mon. I wasn't making anything close to that point.

    It's a kid. If he's not distracted by a smart phone he could be distracted by a mascot or dot race on the scoreboard. There's no shortage of things to distract at a sporting event. At least that is happening in real life. You know, his surroundings? Meh, I'm glad I haven't reproduced.

    I mean, outside of a few teams, isn't the bullpen a potential weakness for every team? You never know. I like the Cubs chances of having a solid to good pen given their options.
