If I'm looking for a silver lining, at least it wasn't planted and didn't have any weight on it. Yeah, I was also seeing that. Hopefully just a bone bruise or something. His cleats weren't planted. -
In his defense, he's so clueless he probably has no idea what Affliction is and just bought it because he's a weirdo uber Christian and it has a cross on it. Ugh. The try so hard to be edgy Christians.

Theriot is the goofy redneck sidekick on a local ESPN affiliate sports talk radio show. If him getting another gig means I don't hear him yucking it up every evening, I'm all for this.

Anyone else have Cox MLB Extra Innings? I understand that they share their baseball channels with hockey package channels, but all the 670's where I usually watch games has NHL scheduled. Wtf?

Do you not get the cubs feed? Extra innings usually has both teams' feeds. If you are choosing the game from the "mix" channel, I believe they default to the home feed, but the cubs one should be there if you actually check the guide. I am watching the cubs feed on extra innings. For some reason, no. I'll buck up and get the package this weekend. -

Several cable/satellite providers are offering free MLB Extra Innings for the first week. I miss hearing Len and JD but it's fun hearing the Angels announcers gush over the Cubs. -

doesn't seem like it'd be a big deal to me... weird especially with how few football games there are, but i don't see why the players would be pissed. Maybe it's just me, but the hockey team has their own identity. No need to be reminded how much of a second fiddle they are in their town. It's demeaning in a way. I'd feel the same if the Pels had to wear Saints gear during a game.

I can't imagine how pissed I'd be if I were on another pro sports team in the city who had to wear that. Imagine the Bears having to wear Bulls gear in a game.

Man, Hendricks looked rough today. Good control, but they were crushing him including a moonshot from Pujols. Defense was bad outside of Heyward looking like a gold glover. Ramirez looked nasty when I saw him.

seems like a strange move for him Yeah, I'm a Tulane fan and I'm pleasantly surprised. Still, there's been a renewed commitment to athletics at Tulane that hasn't been there since Katrina, and the AAC is a pretty nice conference.
