    I'm pretty sure everyone including Duke is frustrated/annoyed by the outcome. Yeah, definitely. I'm just more perplexed by the overarching statements about our offense sucking, or how people are worried about middle relief pitchers, or how "[expletive] is getting really old" for Ski. We're 41-18. It's all cool to me. Yes, I get mad when we lose games. It is frustrating. And it sucks seeing guys like Russell struggle at the plate. But, I also feel perfectly comfortable perched up on our throne, well above everyone else in the whole league. Actually, Russsell's struggles are one of the few things that does have me genuinely concerned.

    It's the only option for the game on MLB Extra Innings. Weird. If you have mlbtv on a Bluray or something similar, both feeds are available. Cox cable. It is weird. Sometimes they have both broadcasts available and other times, no. I did get to hear "LASER".

    That post epitomizes why this website barely gets any new members. I wasn't trying to troll at all. I sincerely am against working a pitcher hard in order to get a no hitter. We saw back in 2003 how working Prior and Wood hard lead to. But you decided to get nasty with your reply. Way to not start a conversation on a legitimate issue. And yet you continue to come back. Your larger point is noted, but picking apart some little comment by Maddon to make this point shows your motives here. Jake threw under 120 pitches in that game FFS. Stop.

    Of course I'd rather be so far ahead that the closer isn't needed. Maybe I'm alone, but this RD nonsense seems stupid. The Cubs are awesome. Cool. I am loving this season, but a +200 run differential doesn't give a bye to the NLCS, so I couldn't give 2 shits, honestly.
