I don't get mad at him, and mostly just feel bad for Heyward. You can tell he's putting his very best out there, and it shows because the rest of his game hasn't suffered at all. It's just a shame. His season is pretty much the only disappointing performance on the entire roster, we've gotten what we've expected, or better, out of every other position player or starting pitcher. It's like all the bad luck inhabited his pristine body. It may just be me, but it seems like his frustrations are starting to boil over a bit more lately. He let out a loud "FUUUDDDGGGEE" or something the other day on a weak pop up, and he's slamming his bat after PAs. It's got to suck for him to see everyone else contributing to the offense but him. But yeah, it would be legendary if he could somehow become red hot in October and carry us to a title.
