    Isn't that the case on any bang bang play like that though? At any rate, he's fine out there but he's not going to win any Gold Gloves. As long as he hits well the defense is perfectly fine even if it does cost them some runs/outs here and there like in the Cardinals series in STL. There was an inordinate amount of luck there to me but yes to a degree that is the way bang-bang plays go I'd love to know how you quantify luck.

    Could see the Dodgers having a heartbreak hangover season. So close, yet no cigar. Plus if you factor in some regression and injuries I think they are a worse team than last year. Was it TT that called this?

    I know it doesn’t mean horsefeathers right now given the sample but I just checked for shits and giggles bc as I watched him it seems like he has minimal holes this year and his k rate is 13.7% lol. With a 15.7% BB rate.

    I know it’s meatbally but I never want javy to ever leave.

    It was earlyish last year and I remember them not handling it great. Like he wasn’t DL’d try to play through and just given off days here and there and just kept running out there with it until it was too late in the year to DL him and get home back. He couldn’t even hit right handed at one point. Yeah, which was one of the main reasons I was glad they just cut to the chase and put Rizzo on the DL. I really wanted to post the clip of jerry making fun of George for saying cut to the chase but I couldn’t find the whole clip :(

    I went to a game last year and trying to leave was insane. They have a huge parking lot and two ways out resulting in it taking over an hour to get out of the parking lot. It's horrible. It's not usually a problem for them. Quoted for being an underrated gem of a post.
