    yep :( Jaxx game set to get underway. Daytona still down 1-0 in the 4th. Peoria up 2-0 in the 2nd on a 2 run RBI double by Brandon Taylor in the 1st.

    Daytona already trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the 1st. Berg gave up 3 hits and a walk.

    yep I remember that game like it was yesterday as well. That ending was absolutely incredible. One of the most, if not the most, exciting finish I have ever seen in a Cubs game.

    Not to throw this way off-topic or anything, but you're from Los Angeles and you're a North Carolina fan? Please tell me you lived in North Carolina sometime. I grew up in North Carolina - basically spent my whole life pre-college there, and been a lifelong fan. While I didn't wind up actually going there, it was my second choice, and my oldest friend, my sister, and many, many other friends have all attended (or are attending) the school. But I'm with you - I'm generally not a fan of people who just decide to be a Tar Heel or Duke fan cause they're good (especially Duke - gross). I can't stand the people who root for UNC or Duke when they've never lived anywhere near the state. One of my friends actually now roots for Duke specifically because he was annoyed that everyone around him was a UNC fan (in Indiana). Friends don't let friends become UNC or Duke fans :wink:

    i saw the game last night and that Dodgers lineup does not scare anybody. Today it is going to be basically Furcal, Drew, and the bums. There is definitely no reason why we can't take at least 2 of 3 from the Dodgers with their offense and we have Maddux and Zambrano going in 2 of these games.

    well in the Trib article today, Skiles and Nocioni said that they can't let up and that they still have something to fight for as they can still get the 5th seed and they also want to finish the season at .500. Blowout? I don't think so. I just hope Dwight Howard doesn't have a big game tonight. Also remember that Orlando has been fighting for their slim playoff hopes the last 10 games or so and that could explain a lot of their W's. It's going to be interesting to see if they take the night off seeing that they are officially eliminated.

    hard to argue that...Yepez had a pretty dominant start with Peoria his last time out, but Atkins had 2 real good outings this week.

    Iowa loses 6-4 on a walkoff homer off of Brandon Emanuel. The Iowa bullpen is not that good without Novoa and Aardsma and it showed today as the pen wasted a very solid effort from Ryu.

    they played for about half of the first half and most of the 3rd. We were up by 14 after 3 with both Shaq and Wade getting good minutes. Hinrich shut down Wade real well yet again. We seem to have better luck at stopping Wade than pretty much every other team does.

    west coast games suck. I really wish that this series was last week instead of this week because I had spring break. Going back to school on Tuesday and just my luck, a stupid west coast game. with that said, Go Cubs!
