  1. It's not the Brewers it's the pitching. We get it. You're anti-Z this year. I'm pro good pitcher. I'm not going to stand up for the guy blindly. What has he done to earn praise? Look at his numbers (not just this game but before hand). His ERA, WHIP, etc. He still has time to make adjustments but there's been little to get excited about. Haha, you can't be serious. Haha/ What has he done this year? He hasn't been as good as last year, obviously, but he's still had a quality start in half of his outtings (3 of 6 counting today). He hasn't been near as bad as you're making him out to be. are those numbers acceptable for an ace though? I think that's the point Blueheart is trying to make. The question was "what has Zambrano done to earn praise?" Well, he's had three solid outtings. He hasn't been a bad pitcher this year. Worse than expected, but he hasn't pitched poorly as a whole. yeah I agree with that. He rebounded from a below average start of the game against Florida to be real dominant in the later stages and he looked real good in doing so. I think more than anything about Z is his lack of control so far this year. There have been a ton of walks this year in basically every start, including the good starts he had against the Cards and the Dodgers.

  3. Jacksonville scores 3 in the 8th off of Federico Baez who gave up a 3 run homer. 5-4 Jaxx, Bottom of the 8th.
  4. i'm not as mad as I usually would be if the Cubs were to be losing like this. We suck.
  5. It's not the Brewers it's the pitching. its not just the pitching, our offense has been real bad as well.
  6. and another walk. what an awful outing by Z.
  7. and this game is looking a lot like yesterday, minus the homers.
  8. This is pathetic. and Larry STILL does not go out to talk to Z.
  9. this bullpen is going to be worn out by June.
  10. 3-0. Why couldn't it have rained harder?
  11. Jaxx up 4-1 at strech time. Mateo threw 6 innings of 5 hit ball, 1 run (0 earned), 4 BB's, and 4 K's. Pretty solid start for Juan.
  12. he gets out of it. Astros win. 3-2 good, we can actually gain a game today if we can somehow solve Capuano.
  13. base hit for Todd. 1st and 2nd for ARam.
  14. a baserunner! they rule that an error. I think Pierre would've beat that out anyway.
  15. alright lets get some baserunners plz.
  16. and now I can focus solely on the Cubs game. nice grab by Jock :)
  17. hopefully it's just a bad sprain for Tyson and not a break or anything. series tied up. Let's beat em at their place please.
  18. not a smart move by Skiles having Pargo in to end the half.
  19. Jerry Angelo is doing his best to try to lose his job in a weekend.
  20. hopefully it doesn't start until the end of the Bulls game :)
  21. both of Iowa's games have been postponed for the 2nd straight day.
  22. Welcome! I just heard on ESPN AM 1000 that the Cubs will probably wait around all day to try and get this game in. The Cubs and Brewers don't have an open day, that works for both teams, for several months. Plus, the Cubs could lose 2.5 M if the game is rained out. They may wait for a window in the weather or just play during a constant light rain. sounds good!
  23. Green Bay has drafted 2 wideouts so far...Cory Rodgers from TCU, mainly for his returning ability and Will Blackmon from Boston College.
