I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I think of how many roster spots are taken up by legitimate DFA candidates. and all of these players are on a team with a payroll that is close to $100 million. I'd rather have some of the players on the Florida Marlins $15 million payroll than some of the guys we have. Yeah, like those bums Cabrera, Hermida, and Hanley Ramirez. well yeah, I'd take those guys obviously. The guys I'm referring to would be guys like Jacobs, Willingham, Abercrombie, and Uggla. Tell me those guys can't do better than guys like Blanco, Bynum, and Perez. and I know I probably shouldn't mention this...but just to remind everyone, Neifi Perez is getting payed $2.5 million. And his contract isn't up until 2007.

Wow! So I take it you've been pleased with Rothschild. If so, why? Rothschild needs to go before everyone besides Baker IMO.

that's definitely the game. you would think a win would start to string a winning streak together, but obviously that's not the case with a Dusty Baker managed ballclub.

thankfully Marshall didn't hesitate to getting to the bag. As soon as the ball was hit, he was on his way to first. He could teach some of our other pitchers how to do that.

How many Cub fans use to leave after Sammy's last AB? It's just the way people behave. yeah that's true. I've never been one to leave a game no matter what the outcome is until the final out. Yeah they probably won't win, but the only reason that the fans were there were to see Bonds hit a homer. They weren't really there to see the Giants win. If Bonds would've hit a homer, it would've been better than a win for their fans.

If it was 2-1 I'd agree...but at 8-1, during the week, I might bolt too. i understand that, but you mind as well just call them the San Francisco Bonds. That's the only player on the team that their "fans" actually care about.
