wow that was bad.

on CSN, they showed Z pointing at Pierzynski while several Cubs tried to hold Z back. They didn't show it on WGN though.

Fred's stats, as usual, back it up. Like I have said in other threads..I like the kid a lot and hope he succeeds. However, he only has one real good pitch and his ceiling will be a middle of the rotation guy. It is pretty pathetic how this guy was an "untouchable." Most of us last year realized that all he could be was a 3rd starter at best. We just love to overvalue our guys. the problem is once he's demoted, he'll tear it up in AAA yet again and then when he comes back in September or whenever, he's going to get rocked. Problem is if he's traded, he's going to become one of the best pitchers in the game. That's how it always seems to go with us.

i just got home, but I had like 4 calls when the fight happened. I'm sure I'll see all of the highlights on the news and stuff tonight, but like baseball7897 said, that is bush league what Baker did. How can you not defend your player in a situation like that? This guy is a total clown and he needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY.

we had our luckiest run of the year in the 1st inning. that's the only thing that saved Buehrle from a complete game shutout. We're going to get 10 runned tomorrow.

He couldn't grip the ball. i just rewinded it on my DVR...he had the ball out of his glove and he thought about throwing home, but obviously didn't. If he makes that throw, Thome is gunned out at the plate. not like it matters anyway. This game was done when Konerko got that RBI double.

Game. this really shouldn't come to a surprise. Maddux was missing his spots and a good lineup like the Sox have will make you pay. now we can play the game of guess if the Cubs will score another run today.
