  1. ok we are just getting lucky in this game, but I'll take it.
  2. double for Pierre! show em why you are in the 2 spot Murton. edit: single and an error i guess.
  3. 8th error on Cedeno this year. He can make the hard plays, but he is bad on the routine plays.
  4. Z comes back from a 3-0 count to get a K to end the inning. Nice recovery.
  5. maybe they didnt get the change in time? one can hope.
  6. Holliman off to a great start tonight for Daytona. Through 3 innings, he has struck out 5, walked none, and only allowed 1 hit. Peoria is getting underway. lineups are out for the Jaxx game...no EPatt tonight. Cates will be the starting 2B tonight.
  7. Ideally, I'd rather see him hit lower in the order, but yeah we need him up there right now. Question of the day: Without looking, guess who has the highest strikeout total on the Cubs? my guess is Mabry.
  8. Thanks Bruce as always! I'm alright with this lineup. Cedeno has been struggling lately and it's nice to not have an automatic out hitting 8th like we had against the Padres all 3 games. Not a big surprise to see Mabry in the lineup considering he's done real well against Livan in his career. Let's PLEASE get a W tonight.
  9. ok well that makes sense because the Lakers and the Kings had rivalries in the playoffs and the teams basically hated each other back when they were the dominant teams in the West. are the Sox our rival? I don't think so because IMO your rival has to play in the same division/conference as you. Do the Bulls consider the Jazz their rival because they played each other in 2 NBA Finals? Do the Bears consider the Patriots their rival because they played each other in a SB? I know you can use the city excuse all you want, but face it..for most of the players, it's just another 6 games. I'd much rather beat St. Louis, Houston, Cincy, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh 14 times than beat the Sox 6 times. and going back on topic (because I don't want this to go to rivalries), Baker won't be canned. I'm assured of it. If he didn't get canned on Sunday afternoon or yesterday, he won't be fired. Yeah, there's a chance we might not re-hire him, but he's not going to be fired in the regular season. Hendry's quotes in the paper today proved me that.
