  1. SCREW YOU, POSEY. God, I HATE that bush league piece of crap idiot.
  2. 20-13 UCLA at half.
  3. A UCLA win could put me over .500 in CBM :)
  4. Good point, except I think Jeff Fisher deserves consideration even if the Titans don't make the playoffs. How about worst coaching job? My ballot goes: 1. Art Shell 2. Tom Coughlin 3. Dennis "the Nutty Professor" Green 4. John Fox Don't know how Mora isn't on this list. He underachieved last year with ATL and he's doing the same thing this year. A team with some of the players that they have, both on offense and defense, should have easily made the playoffs this year. Now they are an extreme long shot at making it.
  5. This effort would've been appreciated the first 30 minutes. Still, I love comebacks. Let's hope they can complete this comeback and win...
  6. Down by 25 now. Can we please make sure KG is on the return flight to Chicago?
  7. He won't retire, but an outcome like that definitely sounds good :D
  8. WTF?!?!?!? Dan Shanoff, formerly of ESPN Page 2's Daily Quickie, mentions him as NFC MVP, which is just as ludicrous. How bad do you have to be in order to be fired from ESPN's Page 2? Shanoff was the king of the reactionary bandwagon hopping hype worshippers. And for some reason, he celebrated that fact whenever possible. Oh and he adds this gem: Hello Sean Payton?? In the ESPN universe, only teams from the east coast matter.
  9. Could bare the fact that you were a Sox fan, but a Packers fan too? That's 2 strikes....I'll be watching closely for the third ;) I hear he's a Knicks fan ;) He also likes the Illini. What an evil trio. Come on Packer fans...you guys haven't beaten a winning team all year, do you really want to go the playoffs? Lame. Yeah, of course I do. None of the 7-8 teams "really" deserve it, but I could not care less. You're telling me that the Giants deserve it? They have been one of the worst teams in the league the last month or so. The Falcons? Once again, another underachiever. The Panthers? That team should've been a Super Bowl contender before injuries caught up with them, and now they have Chris WEINKE as QB. The Rams? They let Noah Herron rush for over 100 yards when we played them. Enough said about them. Of course we don't necessarily deserve to make the playoffs. We were 1-4 and 4-8 in different parts of the season. But if we were able to make it, you would find no complaining from me
  10. So here's our clinching scenarios: Green Bay can clinch a playoff berth with: 1. A win plus a NY Giants win + GB clinches strength of victory tiebreaker over NYG Or 2. A win plus a NY Giants loss or tie plus a St. Louis loss or tie Or 3. A win plus a NY Giants loss or tie plus a Carolina win Or 4. A win plus a NY Giants loss or tie plus an Atlanta win Or 5. A tie plus a NY Giants loss plus a St. Louis loss plus an Atlanta loss or tie plus a Carolina loss or tie #2, #3, and #4 are definitely the most likely. Besides the Giants, we have the best chance of getting the 6th seed.
  11. Awesome :) But would that suck for fans that are going out to SF to watch the game. What was originially a noon start on New Year's Eve now becomes a 7:15 start. I'm sure that the fans attending the game aren't that thrilled with this game being flexed.
  12. Any chance that this game gets moved to either a 3:15 time or the SNF game?
  13. Seeing as the Eagles can win the division with a win next weekend, I don't see them resting their starters. Yeah, I just saw that they could win their division with a win. Oh well. At least the Saints will be resting them :)
  14. Good to see the Eagles win. Even though it doesn't have direct impact on the Packers' playoff chances it does help. The Saints now have a first round bye, so they will more than likely rest their starters against the Panthers. The Eagles have a playoff spot locked up, so hopefully they rest their starters against the Falcons as well. If either one of the Panthers or Falcons win on Sunday, it takes the Rams out of the playoff race. Rest them up :)
  15. We don't necessarily need St. Louis to lose. We need any one of these 3 to happen: Rams loss, Panthers win, Falcons win. If Atlanta and Carolina both win, and we win as well, then all of those teams would be 8-8. The first tiebreaker goes to conference record in that scenario and the Packers would have a better conference record than both the Falcons and Panthers.
  16. Amen. A Giants loss on Saturday would make this our most important regular season game since nearly two years to the date on Christmas Eve. That game was against the 'Queens in the Dome, and we came out victorious 34-31, and won the NFC North for the 3rd year in the row. Of course, a Giants win makes this game pretty much irrelevant.
  17. Your guess is as good as mine.
  18. Makes sense. If Denver recovers, one TO won't do anything.
  19. I think Wichita was, again, without their best player. Still, they're struggling right now. Well, that explains that then. Nope.. Couisnard played. Wow. There goes that then. SIU should definitely be able to beat them at the Arena on New Year's Day. $IU would lose to Lamar. How's Kish doing?
  20. Unbelievable, a missed PAT.
  21. TD Bengals.
