Early in the 3rd quarter of the game on Sunday, he threw the worst deep ball I've ever seen a professional quarterback make.

That would be pretty cool. I'd assume that there would be a [expletive] of back to backs, but oh well. We're always among the league leaders in that category anyway, so it couldn't hurt us, right?

When Washington-Buffalo is the second best game of the day, you know that the slate of games sort of sucks.

I think his comments about being interested in players who are entering their prime/in their prime was pretty telling that Pujols won't be on our radar. It did, however, give me some mild optimism that we would make a run at Prince. Of course, that's probably just a total reach by me.

Lower level. You'll have a blast. I'll be in the 100 level for the game on Halloween against the Preds. It'll be the first time I'm downstairs for a Hawks game in a very long time.

Something that I saw on a Packers board. NFC North kickers against the Packers throughout their career: Hanson: 62/68 = 91% (career 82%) Longwell: 12/13 = 92% (career 84%) Gould: 22/24 = 92% (career 86%) Overall, they're 96 for 105. Hanson was 2/3 in 2 combined games against in the playoffs. Gould last year was 2/2 in the NFC title game. That's pretty staggering. Hanson had a stretch where he missed only one FG in 14 years against us, which is unbelievable.

We started practice today by practicing shootouts. Hopefully we never see Stalberg in the skills competition again. The lineup should be Toews, Kane, Hossa/Sharp. What's so difficult about that?

So they have 34 points and only had one 3rd down attempt? That's insane. I still think the Saints are the Packers biggest hurdle to Indy. I felt the Packers and Saints played very well in Week 1. I feel the same way. The Saints are damn good.

i didn't see him get held on that play, i DID see him get pushed on his ass by an o-lineman or two. for the record, julius peppers gets held on every single play. and that roughing call was bs. If this isn't homerism, I don't know what is. "matthews gets held more than any other pass rusher in the league" That's not homerism.
