  1. That was a beautiful keep by Seabrook to keep that alive. So that's what a successful power play looks like...
  2. Come to think of it, I haven't had Dad's root beer in quite some time. That needs to change. Mug is easily the worst of those four, though.
  3. As literal as you can possibly take it. Players Dad's accompany the team for a couple games on the road trip. you don't know what you are talking about. It's a road trip sponsored by Dad's Root Beer. They do one every year, and while the team is away they open up the UC to the fans to watch at a Dad's sponsored family fest. Kind of hoaky but you need to bring in that casual fan and young families. Mug >Dad's Not even close. A&W > Dad's > Barq's > Mug
  4. Both Kane and Hossa have been damn good so far.
  5. This effort has been kind of lackadaisical.
  6. If Mike Maddux learned anything in Texas, it was how you should not manage a baseball team. Ron Washington comes from the school of giving away outs, so I'd like to steer away from that. Martinez, Francona, and Hale are my preferred candidates but I'll be happy with whoever Theo and Hoyer decide on as the manager.
  7. Go Mizzou. At this point, I'm rooting for Illinois to lose out. Maybe Zook would be canned if they finish 0-7 after starting 6-0.
  8. I wouldn't mind at all. If they want to give Sandberg an interview over Tito, go for it.
  9. Really? I think he's definitely overachieved with what he's had to work with this year. 4-3, including winning 4 in a row, while losing their best player for the season? He seems like quite the meathead, but he might be a better coach than a lot of people are giving him credit for. Myself included.
  10. I'm happy that Q decided to replace Kane with Sharp at center midway through the 2nd. Kane was seemingly losing every draw he took last night. That whole thing with him as a center was cute, but he's not a center. Hopefully we won't have to see that again anytime soon. How bad is Keith hurt? None of us noticed anything out of the ordinary to him, but we quickly saw that Hjalmarsson was double shifting and Keith was nowhere to be seen for the final 25-30 minutes or so.
  11. First Hawks game in over two years tonight. Can't wait.
  12. They're actually going out to Tuscaloosa. Shocking, I know.
  13. Scheelhaase is a super bum.
  14. Nice penalty, dumbass.
  15. Some Cardinal fans on Twitter were apalled on why Cubs fans were rooting against them. I'm not really sure what they were expecting. Oh and you really have to be a complete no-life if you post on a rivals message board after winning a [expletive] championship.
  16. This one's probably done. Very sleepy effort tonight.
  17. Time to start getting hammered.
  18. Of course Carpenter's starting to get into a groove.
  19. I saw this a couple of weeks ago when they were talking about proposed changes to the CBA. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Booze.
  20. It wasn't a fake rain out? The radar on Wednesday afternoon looked pretty clear for Wednesday evening when they decided to postpone the game.
  21. I'll be drinking my sorrows away in Wrigleyville tonight. Feel free to join me.
  22. Yeah, [expletive] baseball if the Cardinals win.
