    I must have missed the part where one game is the same as the season. i haven't heard anyone agree with you that our defense is no problem. not our biggest problem, but overall, another problem. Rob is right. i know. i'm wrong in all arugements. that goes for the rest of my life as well. i should probably stop disagreeing with people. No one's saying that, but the defense has been pretty good (for the most part) this season. Arguments are good. It's what makes message boards go 'round.

    The ball didn't hit the ground, and he screwed up the throw that would've beaten him easily. And on top of that, he keeps calling the high strike with Marquis, who's best pitch is the sinker. I really do question his intelligence. It's no secret that he isn't a smart player.

    As a major league catcher, you have to stop that. And it's not like it's a rare occurence or anything. That's his 8th passed ball of the year. Keep in mind it's only June 3rd.

    Did Marshall even have 3 starts like this last year, let alone consecutively. I dont recall. His starts against the Padres in SD and Pittsburgh and Florida in Chicago were real good, IIRC.

    I'm not a huge fan of MacDougal. His control problems are a major cause for concern. You think Ohman's "30-40 foot curveballs" drove Lou nuts? If MacDougal was on this team, Lou would have a heart attack.
