  1. I know that some of you on here dont like Buck but this is kind of a ridiculous claim here. Listen to Len his voice gets high when ever a Cubs player does something well too. Len isn't a national announcer and he calls all 162 games. It's different when you're a known broadcaster on the national scale and when you're only announcing 10-15 games a year for the Cardinals.
  2. Pujols with a solo HR to cut it to a 2-1 game. Brewers with a 2 out rally and they score on an RBI single by Hardy in the 2nd. 1-0 Brewers.
  3. Buck's voice got real high when Ramirez struck out. Gee Joe, you don't have to make it that obvious.
  4. Buck announcing the Cardinals game. Ugh.
  5. Good luck, Cubs. You're going to need it against Lincecum.
  6. Fielder homers and the Brewers lead 6-0.
  7. Hahahaha, Gallardo with the homer.
  8. At least the Koyie Hill experiment is over. Too bad it's Blanco that's up instead of Soto, but heck, a dead squirrel would be a better option than Hill at this point.
  9. And my game thread streak comes to an end.
  10. The pitch DeRosa swung at should have been hit out onto the street.
  11. Wuertz K's Duncan to end the inning. Time to make Izzy, dizzy.
  12. If the game was tied and the Cardinals scored in the top half of the 7th to take the lead, then the game would not be over. But since they already had the lead going into the inning, they would win if the game would be called.
  13. Pitching matchup: http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/334492.jpg Joel Pineiro: 3-2, 4.25 ERA, 53 IP, 57 hits, 30 K's/16 BB's http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/150404.jpg Ted Lilly: 13-5, 3.74 ERA, 156.1 IP, 137 hits, 129 K's/43 BB's In terms of weather, this game doesn't look too promising either as rain could force this game to be postponed as well. If they ever do get to playing baseball, Lilly should be able to have a good start and our offense should send Pineiro back to earth. A three game sweep does sound pretty good as that would push the Cardinals to a whole 5 games behind us in the division. Also for those of you that have FSN Midwest and don't have CSN, this game will be on FSN MW as well. Just don't lose, you stupid idiots.
  14. Marquis just pitched three days ago; he's not going to be able to pitch tonight. It's bullpen time if the game resumes, followed by Lilly and an emergency callup tomorrow. It would have been different if there was an earlier off-day this time through the rotation. The reason I say Marquis is I thought today was his throw day.
  15. If this game ever starts, I hope we see Marquis. Seeing that we have a day game in 16 hours or so, it would suck to have to depend on Lilly to throw 8 innings without going to the pen because of using them all tonight. At least with Marquis, you can probably get to the 8th without using your pen.
  16. My God, that looked like a pitch you see in video games.
  17. Aaron Miles, you are not that good to be having AB's like that.
  18. He won't. He had a setback in his latest rehab stint. I'm pretty sure he won't be back at all this season. And I was completely wrong about that. He's in Iowa right now and is 2/10 in 3 games with the I-Cubs. But the point still remains. I hope he's not back at all this season.
