    Tough loss for Peoria as Lansing scored two runs in the bottom of the 8th to win it 2-1. Peoria didn't have any hits after Raisin's update on the game. Donaldson was 1/4 with a double and an RBI. Tennessee is up 1-0 after 4. Watson: 4 IP, 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 K/1 BB, 6 GO's/4 FO's. Deeds is 1/1 with a walk and a double. Colvin is 0/2 so far. And Daytona leads St. Lucie 2-1 in the 6th. Scott Eyre pitched the first inning and gave up a hit and a walk, but he also got a strikeout and didn't give up any runs (accomplishment). Maestri is pitching well: 4 IP, 4 hits, 1 run, 1 K/0 BBs, 7 GO's/3 FO's.

    I really wanted to get either Jackson or Davis with this pick, but that's off the board. Packers could go in a lot of different directions here. That being said, the Packers select Martellus Bennett, TE out of Texas A&M. With the release of Bubba Franks, the Packers need a backup TE to compliment Donald Lee. Bennett should be able to do a good job of that.

    Well, Vitters has only played in like four games. Don't forget to include Darwin Barney who hasn't done anything at Daytona this year.

    Atkins really settled down after the first two innings: 6 IP, 3 runs, 2 ER, 4 hits, 5 K's/1 BB, 8 GO's/5 FO's. Simokaitis hit a 3-run homer to tie the game at 3. Colvin is 1/3 with a double and a strikeout.

    Top 5 to maybe Top 10 draft picks pay scale is just whacked. The NFL really needs to look at what the NBA does when it comes to rookie contracts. It's one thing that the NBA actually does right.

    LaRue is at 1B for the Cards and Pujols is at 2nd...I just got back, so I have no idea why this is. Maybe LaRussa has finally gone to the deep end.

    Might be a bit of a reach here, but the Cardinals need a lot of help at LB (as well as almost everywhere on defense). Since they already picked Jenkins in the first round to help solidify the secondary, the Cardinals select Xavier Adibi out of Virginia Tech in the second round.

    Hart with a stupid baserunning gaffe as he was running on contact on a groundball right to 3rd. Brewers have the go-ahead run at 1st, but there's two outs.

    Ahahahaha, Ludwick made a terrible play in RF. Hart's at third as the go-ahead run. And the Cardinals announcers are freaking out after a snap throw to third base appeared to get Hart out.

    Pignatiello had a terrible outing tonight in the 9th inning: 1 IP, 4 hits, 4 runs, 1 K/0 BB's, 1 HR given up. EPatt was 0/3 with a walk and a run scored in the 6-1 loss. Veal got the win as Tennessee defeated Carolina 6-3. Matt Craig had a huge night as he went 4/4 with a walk, two doubles, and two runs driven in. Colvin finished 0/3 with two walks and a run scored. Nice patience, kid.
