    I didn't get a chance to see the game (class) but how did Huet look? I've heard mixed things. Hopefully we win tomorrow. We need 3 points from this trip.

    lol. The World Cup isn't bigger than the Olympics. I'd love to have the World Cup here but the Olympics would've been much bigger.

    I can get into boxing. MMA, not so much. That's not to say that I haven't tried but it just doesn't appeal to me. I've gone to BWW a few times when MMA fights are going on and the scene in there is pretty ridiculous. For whatever reason, I can't get into it. Anderson Silva IS ridiculous though.

    I wouldn't classify the Dolphins as being real bad either. They are dead, but they're not bad. Those other teams are horrible. Otherwise, you're not alone. I've thought the same thing. There's many more teams at the bottom this year compared to years past. At least the 'competition' for the first five draft picks should be good.

    Miami has used a 2nd rounder on a QB in three consecutive drafts, and signed a veteran before last season, and they still need to go out and trade for a crappy veteran journeyman? That is Bear-like. Well consider there isn't a Jay Cutler esque QB available, what else you want the Dolphins to do? I hear Dan Marino wants to give it a go one more time. Jeff Garcia was just let go by the Eagles. Not surprising in the least.

    It doesn't surprise me in the least that you're the one that said something like this. ya, because I am sure you would love to see the Yankees win it. It is obvious that you have never done an individual sport becuse in individual sports you tend to root for the guy that just beat you. It is complex an yet charitable thought process so I doubt you would be able to understand. If you are going to throw moronic quips out like that expand on them so I can be sure of the place that I so offended you. I've ran track before, so that cancels that 'argument' out. As far as the Yankees winning it, I probably wouldn't mind it that much this year. As long as it's not the Cards or Boston, it's fine with me.

    Monday's going to be surreal. It'd be even better if we could steal a win there and head into the bye at 3-1 before a very easy part of the schedule the next few weeks after the week off.

    It's still a big accomplishment. This isn't football or basketball where half the teams make the playoffs each year. I get your point (and agree with it) but making the playoffs in football is a decent accomplishment too.

    Baseball ended a little more than a month ago, as far as I'm concerned. If this is seriously reasoning for getting rid of Bradley, management is somehow more inept than I originally thought.

    The worst possible thing for Illinois heading into this week's game against PSU was to have the Lions lose to Iowa. There's no doubt that they're going to come into Champaign focused and ready to take it to them this week. I'd be extremely shocked if that game is close and more than likely, Illinois will be blown out yet again. SIU needs to take care of business against WIU this week and against Illinois St. for Homecoming next week before the big tilt against UNI in a couple of weeks.

    That TD throw to Boldin sure would've been nice if Warner knew how to throw the ball away instead of throwing a pick in the end zone at the end of the first half.

    because of one play? he led the league in interceptions last year and had the 21st qb rating out of 32 qualifying quarterbacks. people say he's not that good because he's not. LOL What are you laughing at? 21st out of 32 QB's is below average which equates to being "not that good." Did he make a difference today? Well he was involved in the game-winning play, so I guess so. I laugh at anyone who uses QB rating to judge a good QB. And so if he was a difference maker today, wouldn't that mean he is a different maker? What are you using to judge a good QB? Your eyes?

"Favre is washed up" "Favre isnt even a upgrade over Jackson or Sage" "Favre will hurt the Vikings more then help" "Favre is coming off a injury" God I hate Favre. but I hate him for different reasons, the guy can still play. Im glad we have Rodgers and im glad we moved on but other fans saying "well he is not even that good" just got a big serving of crow. What a man. Even with that throw he had a QB rating of 75. I'm really shaking in my boots there! The Vikes are a good team but Favre still isn't a difference maker for them. So he didnt make a difference in todays game? That was more of an amazing catch by Lewis than anything else. Dre Bly had a pick 6 that he dropped on that drive a few plays before the TD throw.
