  1. As long as the PP's even out, we'll be fine.
  2. Taking a break from my graduation party to start this worthless thread. Win one out of six against the Pirates...please? I guess? Fire Lou, Hendry, etc. http://beta.images.theglobeandmail.com/archive/00641/luongo_jpg_641201gm-a.jpg Go Blackhawks.
  3. Yeah, it usually isn't shown on TV. I remember the Wolves lost a playoff game on the delayed penalty back earlier this decade. They were on the good end of delayed penalty and as soon as the extra attacker went on the ice, they lost control of the puck and the puck found the back of their own net in OT. That was just about as strange of a finish as when Boyle put the puck in the back of his own net in OT. I knew about the extra attacker for quite some time, but that was only thanks to the video games. The announcers only mention it when they have the puck for a sustained amount of time, enabling the 6th attacker to get out there.
  4. I went on RealGM and I saw a 13 page thread that had some idiot claiming he'd never be a Bulls fan again if we went out and picked up both LBJ and Calipari. Where do these idiots come from?
  5. We owned them in the regular season this year. Before the Vancouver series, I said I liked how we matched up with them. I really like how we match up with San Jose.
  6. I don't think anybody's going to take on Deng's contract, but Hinrich's going to have some value because he's an expiring after next year. There's going to be some type of market for him.
  7. Name the 6 teams. Orlando, Boston, Atlanta, and? Milwaukee? Miami? Mo Williams' only improvement in Cleveland has been in 3 point shooting, everything else is either similar or worse(especially assists with LeBron getting so many) than in Milwaukee. Milwaukee with a healthy Bogut is better than a Cleveland team without LeBron. What Wade did with Miami was pretty remarkable in its own right. I think a Cavs team without LBJ would be right on par with what Charlotte did this year. A lot of Cavs fans really seem like they're underselling just how valuable James is to that team. There's still not a lot to work with around him.
  8. Oh and of course it should also go without saying that Mike Brown is one of the worst coaches in the league.
  9. Yeah, because they had Michael Jordan. Where do you think the Cavs would be with Delonte West playing 35 minutes a game in place of LBJ? I still think without LeBron that Mo Williams Delonte West Antawn Jamison Anderson Varejo Shaquille O'Neal get around 4th in the East. Easily. Hahahahahahahahaha. No. Without LeBron, the Cavs would be a 7th place team or so in the East. Look at what Rondo's doing to Mo Williams. Do you really think Williams would get the numbers he's been getting the past couple of seasons if LBJ wasn't on his team and if he were the primary option on a team? Of course not. Antawn Jamison has always been an empty player. Delonte West and Shaq are pretty bad players right now. I'll give you Varajao but that's not a very good team without LeBron. Can people please just be rational about this stuff?
  10. The more NBC games, the better. Go Flyers.
  11. lol Chicago sports fans. I've seen more than enough people today who have said that they don't want LeBron. Are you [expletive] serious? How moronic do you have to be?
  12. I absolutely love that first line.
  13. KANE! MAN'S LINE STRIKES AGAIN! Who called that? Nicely done.
  14. This is going to be a loooooooong 15 minutes.
  15. I don't think LeBron's staying with Cleveland if they lose on Thursday. Hire Calipari as soon as they're eliminated, please.
  16. Same here. A PK to start the period would be gigantic, though. We've looked outstanding so far. Don't let up.
  17. He's won everywhere he has went, but he's been caught cheating twice; once with UMass back in 1995 and of course with Memphis a couple of years ago. He's definitely one of the shadiest guys in the game. I don't hate him as much as many people do simply because I believe a ton of coaches in college basketball cheat. Of course, absolutely none of that matters in the NBA. His raw coaching skills aren't the best in the world, but I don't think that would matter too much if he could bring in one of the big three free agents this season.
  18. Oh no. I don't have a problem with the first four guys in that list, but how in the world is Rose not ahead of Billups? Chauncey wasn't very good in the series against Utah. Deron lit him up. My rankings: 1. Deron 2. Paul 3. Rose 4. Nash 5. Rondo Really, 2-5 are pretty close to being interchangable. Rose and Nash are basically a coin-flip for me. The top ten PG's in the league are still all very good. But at this stage in their careers, I don't see how you can have Billups over Rose.
  19. Because Johnsson is in Al Gore's lockbox. And, Buff is really inconsistent. If he can ever put it completely together, he's going to be a damn good player.
  20. Did they? CBC still says Buff scored.
  21. Haha, Brouwer might never see the light of day again. It's amazing what happens when Buff is used properly and is motivated.
  22. Please give this to Buff. He deserves it tonight.
