  1. And missed tackles. But yeah, this will be a battle of the best 2 secondaries in football. I like Seattle's maybe a little better, but not much. Like you pointed out, the Bears CBs are very good. Tillman is a good CB. Sure people caught passes on him, but people have to realize that he was on everyone's #1 WR. You know the Redskins, Bucs, and Panthers were gonna get the ball to Moss, Galloway, and Smith repspectively. That's their gameplan. Fact is, he gave up very few TDs. He gave up very few big plays. With the offensive schemes out there and the fact he was on an island for all 16 games last year, he was bound to have some passes caught on him. Those stats from above don't happen unless you have good CBs.
  2. What made you beleive that? That simply is not true. God does not "give" anything, he does not intervene in that way. God didn't give Jada a disease. She was born with it. Yeah, and I said that where?
  3. Derrek is one of the few people I can see handling something like this well. Not to preach, but God doesn't put more on people than they can handle. And Derrek and his family will handle this, because he is a strong person from everything I have read about him.
  4. Trailer trash like yourself who can't spell? You are way out of line. Take a look at the board guidelines real fast.
  5. The Giants are supposed to have a strong pass rush, though, nobody has seen it yet. They have great DE's. But the Bears are strong in all 4 DL positions. I think it will be a good test for the Bears DBs. I do worry about the 4 WR set a little with a rookie FS and a still not 100% Mike Brown. But all 3 CBs for the Bears are better than any the Seahawks have faced this year. Seahawks actually, I would say has the best DBs. Front 4 ok, back 7, are pretty good. Interesting to see if the Bears can throw as well as they have been.
  6. For those wondering what's going on in the life of rawaction (crickets), I would like to let you know that I am finally becoming a man. No, I didn't lose my virginity. Wait, that didn't come out right. Wait.....nevermind....you know what I mean. But your boy just bought his 1st house. And I have officially set a wedding date....the greatest date ever! July, 7th of next year..... YES! 7-7-7. And the preliminary plan is to do it in Vegas! I don't know why I told you people this. But I had to tell somebody. Everybody can congratulate me in this thread. Maybe I should change my name from rawaction to MANaction. Wait, that's not cool. What about PRIMEaction. I am no longer a prospect. I have made my mark in the league and am a 5-time All-star not only on this message board, but in the game of life.
  7. HA! I thought I was the only one. Had tickets to a couple games last month here in da burgh, and sold them. I think I went to 1 game last year, but this is the first since 94 that I haven't gone. I think I have watched the fewest games this season since 83. Not having cable most of the season and Fox not airing many this season in my area will do that. Not that I would watch now anyway. I haven't seen a full game since Easter Sunday.
  8. I agree that I probably wouldn't trade Hill for Crawford. The Cubs need offense, but the pitching isn't a strength like it used to be. Trading Hill would cause a huge hole in the rotation for 2007. Crawford would add offensive production, but that could be had, albeit more expensively, with Soriano, Lee, etc. And again, I'm a huge Crawford fan. If they want Gallagher, Marmol, and Moore, it's done.
  9. I'm a huge Crawford fan. I think he's a year away from super-stardom. I believe he will be an .875 OPS hitter next year and a future .900 type player. I'd love to get him and have him hit 2nd, with a higher OBP player leadoff. I fully expect a .320 BA, 30 HR season from him next year, especially if he has a better, more consistent lineup around him.
  10. I agree with Goony. Can't lose all those cheap, young, parts for 2 aging players. I agree with Hoops that Blalock is not a good option. Tejada at 3B would be about the only move that would help the Cubs stay where they are (which is not good) if they lose Ramirez. I don't think there has ever been a bigger MUST sign than Aramis is for the Cubs right now.
  11. I'd bet that you can figure mine out just by looking at the team names. :D Ditto.
  12. WOW! Great job to pull that one off. Harris with a huge play, should get the gameball (actually had a huge sack earlier in the game that changed things).
  13. How much time is left? I'm assuming Gameday is wrong showing 1:03 left.
  14. Screw the run game! Moose coming up big today. And a penalty the other way!
  15. Good news is the problems can be corrected. Play smarter. Don't make dumb challenges. Don't make dumb throws in the middle of the field......and the Bears should dominate the 2nd half.
  16. Hold. Big drive by the defense, playing against 17.
  17. This would be a good time for the Bears D to force a turnover.
  18. Horrible end to the drive. Great punt gives the Bears the field position victory.
  19. If the Bears give up just 12 points on 360 yards passing and 85 rushing....it would be an amazing feat.
  20. Defense better start coming to play. What's Tommie doing?
  21. 3 and out would have been nice.
  22. That turned out to be the difference.
