  1. I love Hester but let's not confuse him. Guy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
  2. I think CNNSI's "Dr. Z" is actually insane.
  3. I'd argue that that Bears running game is a little ahead of the Colts but the RB's themselves are about even. The Bears running game has really racheted up at the end of the season here.
  4. Push. Yeah, I tend to agree. If someone has a edge here, it's probably pretty slight.
  5. Bears are underdogs, and I believe rightfully so. I'm not complaining about it like I was when people were picking the Seahawks over the Bears. I really believe Chicago will have to play its best game of the year to win this one. Indy has the edge going in. If Manning pulls it off, you're going to see gushing over him like crazy. So if the Bears pull off the upset, would it be bad that they would receive praise? No, not at all why so defensive? I simply stated what I think is going to happen. WE'RE A LITTLE JUMPY, OK? OK?!?!??!?!?!
  6. Rey Rnez, ladies and gentlemen: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/photo/photogallery/interleague_2003/nym_nyy/03.jpg Damn that's gritty.
  7. Greenburg clearly understood the point being made and made the point that neither of those guys were on teams that were going to do anything whereas Grossman was on a team that could and did make it to the Superbowl. The Bears had a lot more to lose if Grossman sucked and that's why he got more criticism. I thought that was a very fair point.
  8. I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and Gov. Blagojevich was on. Blagojevich brought up the numbers of Aikman and Manning's first year as a starting QB and compared it to Grossman's first year as a starting QB in an attempt to argue that Grossman was receiving far too much criticism. Basically he was saying that his first year starting wasn't as much of trainwreck as everyone makes it out to be. It was pretty clear that he wasn't saying that Grossman was going to be or already is better than Aikman or Manning, he was just giving a reason why people should cut him some slack. Mike Golic quickly disagrees by basically saying "Grossman isn't as good as Manning or Aikman! The stats lie! In the superbowl I think everyone would take Manning over Grossman. If you need to score in the 4th quarter in the superbowl, are you taking Manning or Grossman? I didn't like Grossman coming out of school so I can't agree with you here." It was embarrassing how badly he missed the point. He continued to bring it up when the other Mike was praising Gov. Blagojevich's preparation for the show/sports knowledge. "He knows a lot, but he's wrong." No, meathead. You completely missed his point. The point he actually made had some validity but the point you thought he was making (Grossman>Manning+Aikman) is wrong.
  9. Why was everyone a jagoff to Orton?
  10. Bears are #1 in the league vs Tight Ends.
  11. I think the 100million is LEGIT! Also, that chick is crazy hot. I'd be in love if she wasn't a prostitute. She's not a prostitute. She works in the Sports Media, which is worse. I found the link on Peegs, and they also had her myspace page... http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=12135419 I'm not convinced. My guess is she's putting out for these tickets. She's an "escort" at the very least.

  13. and Nick Saben is not going to Alabama ;-) Huh? Lovie Smith =/= Nick Saban
  14. Lovie isn't going to the Cowboys.
  15. That's the best avatar I've ever seen, and ever will see. Thanks, bud.
  16. Seriously, this is what I was thinking. How is this ok?
  17. Steve Stone is a big fan of this deal.
  18. I'm really worried about Freeny and Mathis. Especially Freeny. I'm having nightmares of him coming from Rex's blind side. They are going to need some serious help on that side because I doubt Tait is going to be able to handle him. Maybe they can slow him down with the running game but I really think he's going to wreck havoc.
  19. If I'm getting those two receivers, I start Schaub and draft Joe Thomas. That would be a wise move. Joe Thomas will be a force for 10+ years. Robert Gallery was supposed to be the same thing and that's turned out great for the Raiders. But that's just because it's the Raiders so other teams should have nothing to worry about. I didn't know too much about Gallery, but Joe Thomas is legitimate. I think he is the safest bet in the draft. Maybe being a Raider killed his career, but he has nothing to do with Joe Thomas. We can run down a long long list of Top 10 quarterbacks who were busts, but they have nothing to do with Brady Quinn or JaMarcus Russell. You said that Joe Thomas is "legit", well Gallery was regarded just as high or higher than Thomas is. Gallery was a "sure thing", too at one point. No draft pick, especially a offensive lineman is a sure thing. Safest bet =/= Sure thing
  20. I don't care about the flip but the pointing back at Urlacher, I could do without.
  21. I'm seeing a 66.8 rating, but great point. I hadn't realized he'd been that bad. I'm shooting from the hip here.
  22. Seriously, it's a total embarrassment that a QB with 2TD's 6INT's and a 55 qb rating in the playoffs is starting in the Superbowl. A total embarrassment.
  23. I think it's funny that after about 10 weeks in the season everyone was saying Colts v. Bears superbowl. Then everyone jumped off that bandwagon as fast as they possibly could. Colts are too soft, Rex is going to tank the Bears, etc etc. They end up meeting in the Superbowl anyway.
